The Meeting at Dawn
The sun hasn't risen yet, but the sky is a bruised purple. Anirudha reaches a small, hidden hut on the outskirts of a village. Inside, sitting on a simple mat, is a man whose presence fills the room—Mahatma Gandhi. He is there secretly to meet local leaders.
Anirudha, drenched and shivering, presents the documents. Gandhi looks at the young boy, his eyes kind but piercing. He doesn't offer a medal; he offers a simple nod of approval. "True freedom," Gandhi whispers, "is not given by the oppressor; it is taken by the brave." Outside, the sound of British boots approaches, and the real test of courage begins.
