Chapter 9 - abduction

Blood was flowing from Ari's right thigh; she had been injured.

Ryan's thoughts were clear: for a moment he was scared and worried; he couldn't protect his sister. These people were powerful.

'What do I do? What do I do?'

But then his sister's voice woke him.

"Brother... you're big!"

Tears were streaming down her face, and pain was etched on her features.

"This... this hurts."

Ryan's emotions stirred; he was angry, unable to think of anything, and he had little spark left.

Ryan laid his sister on the ground.

Upon seeing this, the Fire Element man asked,

"Will you abandon your sister?"

Ryan looked at him, his murderous intent at its peak, then turned to his sister, placed his hand on her cheek, and said,

"Ari, your brother will stop the pain, but it will hurt a little, okay?"

Ari nodded.

Ryan touched the wound and pumped his spark into it, causing the area to freeze.

'This will temporarily stop the pain.'

Then he formed a ball of ice with Ari inside and kept pumping his sparks into it.

'I have to make the ice harder.'

The fire element owner was impressed.

"Oh, what a dependable older brother you are"

Then he shouted to his men:

"You idiots! Grab him! We have to go and break that ball"

The Wind element attacked Ryan, while the Shadow element suddenly appeared before Ari.

This time, the wind element user launched several sharp air attacks, while the shadow element user attacked the ice ball with his sword to break it.

Ryan didn't defend ,he was directing his energy towards the ball, and the attacks cut him down. Numerous wounds appeared on Ryan's body, and red blood flowed from them.

The ball didn't break, but Ryan bit his lip, endured the pain, and continued pumping sparks into it.

'Harder, harder, I have to make the ball harder.'

The Fire Element man laughed.

"Hehehe, this sounds fun, back off!"

A chair rose, its shape disappearing, and moved toward Ryan.

He came face to face with him and said,

"You're very brave. What do you say to joining us?"

Ryan spat in his face and said angrily,

"I'will kill you."

The man wiped his face, a frown appearing on his features.

"Let's see how long you can hold onto that ball."

The man raised his fist and punched Ryan hard in the face. Ryan felt as if he'd been hit by a truck; blood gushed from his mouth, but he didn't stop pumping sparks into the ball.

The man's frown deepened, and he began throwing punches at Ryan. Ryan was being hit like a punching bag—his mouth, his nose, his stomach—each blow was incredibly hard.

Moments later, Ryan knelt on the ground, breathing heavily. He was close to losing consciousness, but he had to endure it.

He looked at his sister, who was crying. The ice ball was transparent, so his sister could see everything. She was crying and pounding her small fists on the ice. Ryan gave her a smile.

The Fire Element man spoke with annoyance:

"This is getting very irritating. Now, pin him to the ground."

The followers pinned Ryan to the ground, but he didn't stop pumping his spark into the ball.

"Show his right hand"

After saying that, the man formed a sword of fire and raised it upwards.

Ryan tried to move, but he couldn't; the followers were holding him down firmly.

The man quickly and forcefully pushed the sword towards his right wrist.

Then I heard a scream from Ryan:

"Aaaaaah!"

Blood gushed from his hand like a fountain.

The man said, smiling

"Now you stop the bleeding or protect your sister's shield."

Tears streamed down his face as his consciousness faded.

'I have to protect her.'

Seconds later, the man noticed that Ryan hadn't stopped the bleeding.

"It seems I have to cut off the other hand."

As he said that, he felt a familiar feeling approaching.

"it seem that she is close"

Then he cauterized Ryan's injured hand to stop the bleeding.

Ryan screamed in pain.

"Aaaaaah"

"Carry him, we're leaving."

Then one of the three said,

"What about the girl?"

The leader looked at her.

"Leave her alone. We don't have time."

They began walking down the dark alley and their figures began to disappear.

Ari was crying and calling out,

"Big brother"

Then, after a few moments, she lost consciousness.

Then, seconds later, someone appeared with lightning speed in an alley that was Liara

Liara noticed signs of a fight after sensing that person here.

Then I noticed an ice ball with a person inside. Near the ball, there was a human hand.

Liara approached the ice ball, her eyes widening, and quickly scrambled to get up.

"Ari, Ari, wake up! Are you okay?"

She noticed her sister's wound, which was covered with a layer of ice, and then she directed light from her body towards her sister's wound, but she was worried.

"I hope my guess is wrong."

One evening, Eri opened her eyes to notice a familiar ceiling.

"Ari ، Ari, are you alright, my daughter?"

"Mom,"

the mother asked, worried.

"Ari, have you seen your brother? He went out this morning and hasn't come back."

In the room were Ari, along with her mother and father, Araya, and also Astria and Quill.

Upon hearing the word "brother," I began to cry, and everyone's eyes widened.

"Mother... brother... brother."

The mother was trembling, but she needed to calm her daughter down to find out what had happened.

She put her hand on her head and said

"Shhh, calm down and tell your mom what happened."

But Ari's tears didn't stop, yet she spoke:

"Some people appeared... they appeared and began attacking us."

"And when I was injured, my brother stopped the pain and put a ball of ice around me."

"Then...then they started hitting him and..."

Eri screamed the last words and began to cry.

"They cut off his hand."

The mother was trembling and looked at Liara.

Liara stepped forward and spoke to Ari.

"Ari, can you remember what happened after that or anything you heard? Your sister promises to bring your brother back to you."

Ari looked at Lyara.

"Really?"

Lyara smiled.

"Of course."

Ari tried to remember:

"When we first met them, the Fire Man said he came because of the sister, Yara and Mira."

Liara's eyes widened.

'What does Mira have to do with this?'

"Okay, now your sister will go and get your brother."

She turned around, her smile vanished, replaced by a serious and angry expression.

"Quill called Mira and Celine and told them to come home."

She looked at her parents and gave them a smile.

"I'm going."
