Chapter 11 - The second prince

Ryan was puzzled, looking at the person whose image had suddenly appeared.

But after Logan knelt before him, he became worried.

'This is going to be annoying.'

The person whose picture appeared was tall and muscular, with long black hair that fell over his shoulders.

His eyes were gray and glowed with a sharp intensity.

He wore dark armor decorated with silver stripes and a red sash over his shoulder.

He wore a large gold ring bearing the symbol of a storm and swirling winds.

Ryan knew that the scarf symbolized the royal family.

' The emblem on the ring belongs to which kingdom?'

But that didn't matter now; he had to find a way out of this.

The second prince looked at him, but his gaze expressed contempt and disgust.

Then he spoke. His tone was sharp and rough, and his voice was weak. He spoke slowly and confidently.

My son, I am going to ask you some questions. If you have an answer, speak. If you don't, be silent. Don't waste my time.

"Logan, are you recording this?"

Logan nodded.

"Yes, my prince."

"Okay, first question: where is your sister Mira? You are her family, so you should know where she is."

Ryan looked at him, his eyes wide. Then he started laughing.

"Hahahahahahaha"

Logan was taken aback.

"Kid, are you crazy?"

But the prince's gaze remained unchanged.

Tears streamed down his face from laughing so hard.

"Well, that's just funny, hahaha."

Then the prince said,

"Logan."

Logan shook his head, approached Ryan, and touched his shoulder. Ryan began to feel a slight heat that increased until his skin started to burn.

I heard a scream from Ryan.

"Aaaaaah"

Logan then pulled his hand away.

"That's better."

Ryan was breathing heavily.

'That hurts.'

Then the prince spoke:

"Will you answer now?"

Ryan smiled.

"There seems to be some mistake. I only have one sister, and she's four years younger than me."

Ryan noticed the surprise on Logan's face and swore he saw some annoyance on the prince's face as well.

The prince spoke, and although his tone remained the same, Logan knew he was upset.

"Logan, what is he saying?"

Logan replied quickly,

"That's impossible. He confirmed he has three older sisters, including Mira, whom we're looking for."

Ryan spoke, still smiling.

"Ah, I understand now. Yes, I have sisters."

Then, in a flat tone, he added,

"But I never considered them part of my family."

Logan was annoyed by his answer.

"Kid, do you think we're joking with you?"

Gene looked at him and said confidently, without his blue eyes flinching,

"I haven't seen two of them in six years, and I've only seen the other one once during that time."

Then he looked at the prince and continued:

"So why should I care about them? I don't care about them. They didn't even come on the day Ari was born. Ari doesn't even know what two of the three of them look like."

His gaze hardened.

"They never came to my mother's or father's birthdays during this time, so I only have one answer, even if you ask me, I only have one answer."

He took a breath and continued,

"I don't know where they are, I don't care about them, and I don't want anything to do with them. So, you bastard, do what you want."

As he spoke, the prince kept looking at him until he finished, then said,

"You are very rude."

Then he looked at Logan and said,

" beat him until he tells me where Mira is. You said she came to town last week."

Logan shook his head.

"I don't hold a grudge against you, kid. This is just my job."

Ryan knew that this person's punches were very powerful.

Logan raised his fist and quickly brought it down towards Ryan's face; Ryan gritted his teeth.

"Bam"

One blow drew blood from his nose and mouth.

One blow drew blood from his nose and mouth.

But Logan didn't stop. He began a barrage of blows: one, two, three... ten... twenty... thirty.

Upon reaching thirty, he heard the prince's voice:

"Stop."

Logan stopped.

Ryan's head was down; his relatively long black hair covered his face. At that moment, he began to laugh.
