—————10 years later—————
Well… my social experiment is a success.
The mana reactor™ I sold caused a war between Dwargon and Falmuth, I flew from above looking down at the battlefield filled with opposing armies, Amanises sitting on my shoulder in her shrunken form, "Master, what will you do? you told me if something like this were to occur then your teacher would step in to settle it."
"Exactly, which means I don't have to step in to do anything."
"…Yeah but if your teacher finds out that this was your doing, what will you do?"
"…"
"Fuck my life." I began cursing at the thought of Guy finding out, jeez I can calculate several thousand equations in a nanosecond but I still did something this stupid, "AHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
"Simon, please calm down!" Amanises tried desperately to calm down, "If you don't want to incur his wrath, why don't you fix this yourself?"
" Do I have to?" I asked as even my voice began to slow down in exhaustion.
" You got a better idea?"
———————————————
Dorf: " Sir, we have taken the eastern front."
Gazel: " Well done-"
"WHAT IS THAT?!?!" a random knight said while pointing to the sky.
Everyone looked up to a comet about to land in the middle of the war zone, accepting at unfathomable speeds, "BRACE FOR IMPACT!!!!!!"
Not even a second later, the comet crashed causing a cold shockwave that froze the ground outwards and causing the ground to rupture with glaciers. In no time at all, the once war zone had become a frozen wasteland, forces from both sides hadn't just been incased in ice but had become ice, eternally sealing their fate. Everyone there was in shock at the sight of what they just saw
" My people." Gazel Dwargo was in awe at the sudden phenomena but was more saddened over the loss of his soldiers. As Gazel was having his moment of mourning for his people, he noticed a figure at the exact place of impact, what looked to be a young man walked out of the crater and looked around him, 'huh, he doesn't seem to be fazed by the frozen bodies.'
As Gazel's thought process ended, the man from such a distance away cocked his head directly into my direction, his seemed to make intense contact with mine almost as if he was looking into my soul.
"Who are you?" Gazel Dwargo pondered about this mysterious person when Dorf came by his side and looked at the direction that his king was looking at.
'What the hell.' Dorf knew that he knew the person in the distance but didn't know how. He squinted his eyes to make out the silhouette, he began thinking of where he had seen this person. And then it finally clicked.
"Is there something wrong Dorf?" Gazel's deep voice snapped him out of his dazed.
"My king, that person was the one who gave me the mana reactor!" Dorf shouted in astonishment.
Gazel looked back at the figure with new intrigue.
———————————————
I took my eyes off of Gazel Dwargo and started walking back into the distant forest, 'This isn't my problem.'
Until I heard flapping of wings behind me. I turned around to see the knights flying on their Pegasuses…Pegasi…doesn't matter, the point is they were flying towards me.
The horses landed Infront of us and ofcourse the first person to get off the horse and approach me was the king himself, Gazel Dwargo.
" Were you the one who caused all of this?" Gazel asked me in that deep sexy voice, no homo.
" Yes." I asked with composure that frightened even me.
" Were you also the one who sold that machine to us?"
"I am."
Gazel Dwargo looked at me with scrutiny, and then released his heros haki to watch how I'd react, the rest of his soldiers felt feel immense pressure, but I merely stared at him, "Really, trying to test me hero king."
Gazel saw that the man seemed entirely unfazed and drew his sword, "you are clearly not a normal individual, I had assumed the creator of that artifact was some great artificer. But you seem to be familiar with the battlefield, will you allow me to test you?"
I materialised a sword, which surprised Gazel, he had assumed I was just a mage and artificer, "well, you seem to also know a little bit of swordsmanship."
Dorf stood away from us about to start, "3, 2, 1, start!"
Gazel intented to go on the defense first, intending to see what he would do first. The moment Dorf's words fell, he felt every bone in his body scream at him to move, to evade, to survive.
He looked at the young man before him, he was moving slow, he couldn't understand what his body was telling him.
"That's just an afterimage, you should pay more attention." The moment the words fell, the figure Infront of him flickered out of existence. Every bone in his body told him to turn around.
He quickly swiveled his entire body to block the blur of a sword strike, 'What the hell, even master wasn't like this.'
He successfully blocked the near-death strike, but at the cost of his footing and his sword.
———————————————
The Pegasus knights looked in awe as their revered king was beaten in one strike and his sword shattered like glass.
"Huh, so that's the hazy style." I walked up to his fallen body and reached out my hand with a smile, "you're quite the combatant king Gazel."
The king looked at my hand for a second and took it to get up, 'he clearly has no technique yet his movement aren't clumsy whatsoever.'
I walked back to my position and threw the king a sword identical to the one I broke and took my stance, "again."
The king shuddered at my manic smile, the look it gave off was that of a lunatic, 'He's enjoying this.'
———————————————
40 minutes and 27 swords later and King Gazel was sweating while just stood there with a sense of satisfaction. Thanks to the efforts of Visionary and Unpredictability, I could analyse his foot placement, muscle contortions, the bending of the joints and replicate it to nigh-perfection.
" You want to rest, hero king?" I smiled while looking at his tired form, the Pegasus knights on the side had already gotten bored of me bullying their king. The king held up his finger, telling me to wait, I took that as a yes.
" I'll be talking my leave then."
" Wait!" King Gazel shouted in-between heaving breath, " Tell me something first, why did you give us such a valuable artifact?"
" Why? Because I felt like it, and it's not so valuable, these are stuff that I mass produce on the daily." My words caused the entire brigade of Pegasus knights to start sweating.
"If it's not so valuable to you then surely you can spare a few." Gazel wanted to test how true my words were, but when hearing his next words, he couldn't fathom what kind of person I am.
"Sure, how much do you want?" My casual attitude to this world changing artifact baffled him.
"How- how about two more."
"That little?"
"Um ok, how about 50."
" There you go." As I said this, I snapped my fingers and 50 mana reactors™ appeared.
