Jayden returned home directly from Rossi's visit in his car. However, while driving, he received a call from an unknown number. He answered,
"Who's this?"
"Boss, we have a problem."
"I asked, who are you, you bastard?"
" I'm the new assistant, taking Rossi's place, sir. Apologies for disturbing you."
"That idiot who gave you my number without my permission I'll beat him senseless. Anyway, tell me what's going on and I'll handle it."
"They've taken down the Southside hideout."
"What? Wasn't there heavy security and the hideout was hidden every day?"
"Yes but something went wrong. The dormant volcano exploded, causing chaos and disrupting our operations. They destroyed our base and stole most of the money and drugs we had there."
"This is bad. I'll go to the nearest hideout to my place and hold a meeting with the leaders. Inform them about the meeting."
"Understood, sir."
Jayden turned his car at a fork in the road, heading back toward his office near his house. He entered the building and despite everyone greeting him, he didn't respond and quickly made his way to the meeting room. Some of the leaders were already there and they greeted him.
"Sir Jayden , welcome."
Jayden : " No time for pleasantries. Tell me exactly what happened and which gang attacked us at the Southside hideout."
One of them approached him and said
"It's a gang from the Red Hands Organization, sir."
Jayden: "Are you sure about this?"
"Yes, we've done our research and confirmed it, sir."
"This isn't good. Even though we're a strong gang, we're not as powerful as the Red Hands."
"What should we do, sir? We can't defeat them."
Jayden fell silent then put his fingers to his eyes and sighed before sitting down.
Jayden: "As you said, we can't face them, but we need to compensate for our losses. We'll attack another gang that opposes us and steal what they have. Which gang last attacked us and we didn't retaliate?"
One of his followers responded
"It's the gang we blew up one of their teams and defeated the other, thanks to you and the fighting squad, sir."
"Alright, let's strike back twice as hard. They attacked two of our hideouts, so we'll attack two of theirs. Let the research team gather intel and we'll come up with a solid plan to raid their hideouts."
"Understood, sir."
The followers left to get to work immediately. Jayden took some papers regarding the defeat at the Southside hideout and left the building. He was heading to his car when he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"How was the work at your father's bakery?"
Jayden turned to see Merrick leaning against the building, smiling sarcastically. It was clear Merrick had figured out Jayden's lie and knew he was a gangster, not a peaceful man working at his father's bakery
Jayden knew his secret was out and responded with equal sarcasm.
"It wasn't great. There were some pests messing up the place."
Merrick : " How unfortunate. Does that mean you're going to switch careers and become a dangerous gangster from the Iron Ghost gang ?"
" So, you've figured me out."
"Yes."
"But how?"
" I've been watching you. I noticed the twins mentioned your first meeting took place in an area with little visibility, hardly anyone goes there and I was curious. I also visited your bakery and saw you weren't there at all. I kept an eye on you until I figured everything out."
"So, what now? Are you going to tell the rest of the team and kick me out of Kaos?"
Merrick paused then walked over to Jayden and placed his hand on his shoulder.
Merrick : "I won't expose you, Jayden. I was a bad person too but you need to choose your path. Either be a good person and use your powers for good or be a bad one, using your powers for evil."
Jayden: "You're right. Your words are the truth."
Merrick removed his hand from Jayden's shoulder and said,
"Take your time to think it over. I'm leaving now."
Jayden: "Okay."
Merrick turned to leave and Jayden called after him.
"Thank you for your advice. Take care of yourself."
"You are welcome "
Merrick waved before leaving and Jayden headed home. Once he arrived, he sat on his bed and rubbed his face, unsure about what path to take. He had to choose
Stay with Kaos or remain the leader of the Iron Ghost. Even if he tried to juggle both, his secret as a gangster would eventually be discovered by the kaos team.
The next day, Tristan arrived at the designated place and found Luna and Yuna already there, sitting. He greeted them.
Tristan: "Hello."
Both girls stood up and turned to face him.
Yuna: "Hello, sir."
Luna: "Well, well, the troublemaker's here. And early too."
Tristan: "The paper said to come at 10 AM and I'm here fifteen minutes early."
" Good, you're diligent. By the way, what's your name ? "
" My name is Tristan Danson "
"Nice."
"What about you two?"
Yuna: "I'm Yuna Ribwan."
Luna: "And I'm Luna Ribwan."
Tristan: "You two look so alike, it's impressive."
"Because we're identical twins."
Tristan stared in awe at the two girls. It was his first time seeing identical twins like them. Luna then spoke.
"Follow us."
Tristan followed them as they led him to the transport box, explaining the details of their plan just as they had done with Jayden before. They took him to another country, straight into a desert area where it hadn't rained much that winter.
They arrived at a place with giant wind turbines, like those used for generating electricity from wind but the area was dry and the wind didn't blow much. The place was surrounded by a wall, guarded by security. Luna and Yuna approached the main gate, greeted by the guard
"Welcome."
Yuna: "Hello, Kiro. We're here to do our job as usual."
"Of course, but who's this young man with you?"
Luna: "He's a new teammate who'll help us."
"Welcome, new guy. What's your name?"
Tristan: "My name is…"
Before Tristan could finish, Luna sharply interrupted.
" Don't pry into his personal information, Kiro, like you do with us."
Kiro: "Of course, sorry, didn't mean to bother you, miss."
"It's fine. We'll head to our room to get the equipment and start working."
"Alright, go ahead."
As they walked together, Yuna spoke to Luna.
Yuna : "You were a bit harsh on him."
Tristan: "Yeah, why were you so sharp with him?"
Luna: "It's the opposite, Tristan. They don't know our real names or personal information. Since I told him you're one of us, he has no right to pry into your personal details."
"Got it. So, what are we doing now?"
"You'll see soon enough."
They entered the room to find two backpacks and two old cannons , each with holes where the firing mechanisms were. Yuna opened the backpacks, pulling out shiny, transparent threads. She tied them to the cannons. Tristan looked puzzled.
Tristan: "What's this?"
Yuna: "We're tying these cannons together and putting our hands in the holes to activate the Air Stone powers to generate wind while we aim them at those massive wind turbines. This will help generate electricity so the people here can use air conditioning and have some power."
"That's a good idea but doesn't it expose you as heirs of the Stones?"
Luna: "No, we pass it off as an invention and tell them the threads have nuclear powers. They're dumb enough to believe us."
Tristan laughed.
Tristan: "You're really good at lying."
Luna: "And we're good at working too. Will you help us, Tristan? You're an Air Stone heir, so you can generate wind, right ? "
"Yes, I can—and I certainly will," Tristan said firmly.
The three of them stepped out, each carrying a cannon as they approached the massive helicopters nearby. Tristan placed his hands into the cannon's socket and activated the powers of the Air Stone. A fierce gust of wind surged forth, strong enough to set the helicopter blades in motion.
Yuna glanced at Luna and smirked.
"Looks like the wind Tristan creates is stronger than yours, Luna."
"I don't care," Luna replied, jealousy lacing her voice. "Even if his winds are the strongest in the world."
Using the Air Stone, Tristan managed to generate enough wind to rapidly charge the special turbines that stored electrical energy, accomplishing the task in record time. Kiro rushed over, clearly impressed and grateful.
"Thank you, sir!" Kiro said eagerly. "Thanks to you, the generators are fully charged in no time!"
"It was nothing," Tristan replied humbly.
Luna folded her arms. "You should be thanking us too—we're the ones who brought him along."
"Seriously?" Tristan raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, yes—you two deserve thanks as well," Kiro conceded.
"Now return the equipment to our private chamber. We're heading out," Luna instructed.
"Understood," Kiro said, quickly gathering the gear and carrying it away.
Meanwhile, the two girls and Tristan left the facility, making their way back to their homeland through the transport box .
The trio walked side by side, chatting as they went.
"So," Tristan began, "since I'm your new companion, explain something to me. How is it that both of you inherited Stones? I thought only one twin could inherit a wonder stone, while the other remains... ordinary."
Yuna chuckled. "That's a long story."
Yuna and Luna went on to explain that they were both heirs of Reed Stone. Through a shared blood bond, they were able to wield each other's weapons and powers—just as they had once explained to Jayden.
Soon after, each of them returned to their own home.
When Tristan walked through the door, a shocking sight awaited him—his dog, Badwin was lying unconscious on the floor, unable to move
