"I…" I ended up trailing off, cause I haven't an inking of what I was supposed to say right now.
Knox said nothing and just watched me, his eyes seeming like they were trying to see straight into my soul, making me feel even more worked up.
"I'll spare you, human." He finally spoke and a wave of relief washed over me at once, unlike anything I've ever felt before, making my limbs quiver.
He was really not gonna harm me??? I couldn't believe he'd just let me go like this.
"However, Tonight…" he trailed off and my breath caught as I waited for him to complete his sentence, my heart pounding away.
"Come see me in my dorm."
My eyes almost fell out of their sockets as I gaped at him, my jaw falling to the ground in utter shock.
