Vector, a poor, crippled chef, killed himself after being fed up with his pathetic life. When he reincarnated into the first cringe fantasy story he’s ever read, he was horrified, then excited to find out he’s not crippled in this life. Luckily, a rare opportunity comes by— to attend Hillstone Supernatural academy, a school where only elites attend, but every year, few selected humans from every kingdom are opportuned to attend, for a chance to make a name for themselves before graduation. 

In the academy, Varney instantly discovers that nothing is as it seems. Lies and secrets litter the dark hallway, safety is nonexistent and the strong preyed on the weak. Humans, who’re at the bottom of the hierarchy, are more like flies in the midst of monsters, waiting to be swatted away. In hillstone, being noticed and sought after as a human meant three things = disaster, danger and… death.

Varney planned to stay unnoticed, graduate and leave without getting into any trouble. 

But can that be possible when he not only unexpectedly crosses paths with the daunting, alpha male lead but also ends up having to share a room with him? Worse, the male lead’s reputation is dark as night and even the strongest students here in Hillstone are wary of him.

Like his problems aren’t enough, wherever he went, he attracted trouble his way like a faulty magnet, causing him to be noticed against his will.

 After two more classes which I didn't share with my two new friends, I felt drained as hell as I got out of the classroom, already feeling so many eyes on me as I walked. 


It was downright uncomfortable, and I couldn't wait to return back to my former style. My last two classes were finally on subjects relating to cooking, and I felt so happy, I took a lot of notes throughout the class. Getting a career in cooking is the reason I'm here right now and no matter what gets in my way, I'll achieve my goal no matter what.
