"Look at that pretty human, I'm gonna invite him over." Kade said beside me, having instantly sat up as soon as the annoying human walked through the cafeteria doors. I already smelt him before he stepped through, but his scent still hit me square in the face, the vanilla making my head spin a little. His eyes were blown wide and he seemed startled to see me here right now, his stance indicating that he was clearly considering fleeing.
And he really should listen to whatever voice telling him that.
"Fuck. We have to claim him." Sky, my wolf swore within me, panting like a starved creature. That was exactly how he acted within me throughout the time we stood opposite him on the field for the fight, going on and on about how pretty the human looks and how delectable he smells.
"Don't invite him." I gruffed out to Kade who was basically undressing the human with his eyes.
Kade huffed, throwing me a glance. "Why? Cause you hate humans so much."
