As the professor's words echoed through the air, I felt my legs wobble, my heart feeling like it would explode. Evan and Darcy had worried expressions on their faces as they stared at me, while the rest of the class basically looked amused as hell. It was clear everyone knew what the outcome of the fight was gonna be even before it started.
Knox looked bored as hell as he strode into the middle of the field where the fighting was supposed to take place, hands in his pockets, an unreasonable expression on his face. The students instantly began to hoot while hailing him and if I wasn't so terrified right now, I'd have rolled my eyes in irritation and annoyance. I sighted Landon in the crowd crackling loudly and I huffed, glancing away fast.
I exhaled shakily as I stepped into the field, a few murmurs reached my ear.
"Knox is so gonna crush the human,"
"As he should. I heard the human spilled coffee on him on his first day!"
