Aurora trek back home from the mountain, this was what she does everyday.
She was known as a cursed child, called the curse child and treated like an outcast even when she was the Alpha daughter.

This is a question Aurora have been asking herself, her stepmother could not provide an answer, only said it was her fate.

You could say she's the most beautiful in the Lude clan but everyone despise her except Gianna ,Felicia and Damian.

Lylah, Gianna daughter was born three days after Aurora was born, which meant, the Luna title will automatically fall on Aurora.
Aurora got home and decided to go to the back chamber and visit Gianna when…
" mom, that girl is getting overbearing, I can't just stand her"

She lean in to hear more, not that she care but her curiosity got a better part of her Like never before.
" you shouldn't bother yourself about unimportant things, Lylah, rather I would like you to focus on being the delicate lady I want you to be, hmm?"

She quickly retreated her steps and found herself in her chamber.

Aurora went to the bathroom, undress and dip into the cold water.

Aurora slip into a silver dress that accentuated her hair, she let her long flowing hair down.

Aurora step in and was greeted by an unexpected presence,

the last person she plan to see was sited with her father' Lucian' having a deep conversation.
Or so I guess. Cause the don't even know when I step in, and father kept nodding like he always do when talking with Gianna.
What spell did she cast on him to make him this obedient. But I know that whatever Gianna is saying is not good, it might be related to me, just my intuition though.
Before I could cough to alert them of my presence.
A row of maid step in, and My stepsister, Lylah step in, they were either fanning her, or wiping her face.
" be careful, don't ruin my makeup"
Lylah said delicately.

The maid obediently replied.
I've always long for this type of care but never got it.
No wonder they said if wishes were horses beggars would ride on them.
Lylah walk over and sneered at me as she walk past.

Only then do I realized I have been staring at them.

Aurora found it hard to smile back.
Lucian look at her in disdain, while lylah smirk .

Aurora sat down and watch as Lylah lifted her dress in a Royal manner, and sat down with face up, squared shoulders and an unending smile planted at her lips.
Aurora scoff.
Gianna smile .
" what brings you here, Aurora "
" just a bit bored, decided to come stay with father"
" you know that father is always busy and don't have time for unnecessary visit, "
Lylah said, clearly implying that Lucian don't have time for Aurora.

" you're right , my lady, what brings you here"
Lucian said.
Lylah stood up , gathered her dress in her hands and walk elegantly toward Lucian .
" I thought fathers scarf must have worn out, so I bought him a new one to keep him fresh "
Lylah said and drop a box on Lucian table.
Lucian reach out ,open it, and exclaimed.
" oh Lylah, so thoughtful of you, bless you my lady, this is what is expected of an upcoming Luna"
" I'm flattered, father"
With that, lylah returned to her seat and cast a 'you see that look' at Aurora.
" Some people should learn from their younger ones but they choose to act all proud. "
Lucian said clearly implying Aurora should learn how to give from Lylah.
" i read in a book that our clan need a good, righteous, elegant, refined Luna, not a boring, disgusting one, I'm I right father? "
Lylah said that to mock Aurora referring to her as the boring, disgusting one ,and call on Lucian to side with her.

" I think I need to improve "

A bell ring signifying its time for lunch.
A row of maids came in and set a lunch table.
Gianna and Lucian move over to the table anf beckon on Lylah to do same.
The table was drap with a gold cover.
Food of different varieties, hotpot, roasted meat, soup, rice, fruit, mushroom and different delicacies filled the table.
While On the other side, a maid simply handed over a plate of rice to Aurora and left.
Aurora made for the door as usual but Gianna called out.
" you should eat over there ,darling, father have something to say to you after lunch"
Aurora nodded.

What a green tea.
She muttered.
Aurora ate in silence, after eating, she drop her plate, and place the spoon on it.
She dud not have any water to drink, and she dare not ask for one, Lucian might explode on her.
The last time she ate here and had requested for a cup of water, Lucian had drenched her in an icescream pudding, which tasted really nice, which counted as the second and last time she had ever tasted icecream pudding, beside, she have never eaten here except on two occasions when lylah had her coming of age ceremony and when Lucian held a grand birthday Party for Gianna, a day that many had thought that he would crown her his Luna.
Aurora sat in silence while looking down at her delicate fingers, even though they were not cared for,they still looked beautiful while she listen to the continuous clatter of cutlery, Lylah incessant murmurs about how pepperish the fish was, how hot the rice was.
How strong the wine is.
How salty the mushroom is.
How cold the rice was.
How warm her water was.
How hard the banana was to pill and how it pain her fingers and might ruin her manicures.
She listen to how Lucian continuously bark at the maid to do everything to Lylahs taste, how Gianna kept saying.
" calm down honey".
" eat steady, my lady"
" taste this fish, honey"
" how about this wine honey"
" is the wine to your taste honey"
" taste this fruit my lady"
This was so painful.
No body asked me to come here, yet I drag myself into this mess.
She watch the way the maids look at her with disdain or should I say pity.
Which I bet she had gotten used to.
A tear unconsciously drop from Aurora eyes.

Few minutes later, or I could say hours.
The table was finally cleared.
Everyone returned to their seat while Lylah kept smiling like she just won a gold trophy in the Olympic game.
After eating, Lucian went into his inner chamber and clean up, he changed into a new cloth, walk majestically out from his room and toward His chair, he sat down and look directly at Aurora,
The same look he had given her when he wanted to invite her for Lylah coming of age ceremony,
The look he had given her after Lylah shifted for the first time under the full moon but she still remain wolfless,
That good for nothing look he gave her when she had broken his beta daughter's leg before punishing her,
And without warning,
Aurora sense something was up,
"Aurora, you know that as an Alpha Daughter, the pack should be your first priority?"
Before Aurora could answer, Lucian continue with out casting a glance at her.
" so whatever you do in life, the Lude clan should come first and yourself second, I wanted to invite you in, but you already came yourself, and to be candid enough, I treated you to a meal "
Is that what a father suppose to say to his own daughter?
What meal did he treat me to?
Rice?.while he lavish away munching and crunching .
This man really have no shame.
