Andriana was already asleep when he came upstairs to check on her , so he decided to try and talk to her tomorrow.
Later in the night ,Karlye was awaken by someone in his bed. He felt her arms slid to his waist hugging him. She was laying behind , her body so close he could feel her radiating warmth .
"Andriana ?" he called.
She held him tighter , he moved holding onto her hands .
"What's wrong bad dream ?" he asked.
"Mmm..." She breathed.
"It's alright , am right here ".
"I am sorry " she muttered. Karlye froze...she had finally said something . He tried to move but she stopped him.
"I don't want you to look at me " she cried .
He breathed , "alright I understand ".
She snuffled.
"I sorry Karlye ,I am just tired that's all ".
He gritted his teeth, "I know you are love ,but know we are here to always help and listen "
She smiled through her tears .
"I guess Mira told you everything "
"She did ,i am sorry we ...." Karlye felt her pull away ,he stopped speaking ready to turn around.
"Don't move yet or look back ,please " she requested.
"Okay " he laid back down looking away, "are you angry ?".
"No am glad she did , I don't think I would have been able to tell you everything about me " she said.
Silence followed like she was thinking about what to say next and he didn't rush her waiting patiently.
"I am just tired ,Karlye . Tired of laughing when I am in pain ,saying am okay when am not or trying to sleep off my worry when it's too much for me to handle " her voice trembled.
I thought I had put it all behind , healed from all that pain but I guess i had never taken the first step . I got lost in the same pain and my mind went blank ,I was crying but all I could feel was numbness.
She was crying so much , Karlye was clenching his fists so hard to stop himself from turning around to embrace her.
As long as I can remember I have never felt like I belonged anywhere . My own mother never treated me like her own and my father made it worse . I learnt to pretend ,wear a mask so I could fit in but that only worked when I held it in really good .
And the worst feeling was for me to realize how much disrespect I endured just so I could be loved or wanted.
"My love ..." he called
"But then I met you and my mask fell off. You saw me for who I really was . The way you love me makes me want to be better but this pain , the voices in my head that keep drowning me in doubt sometimes get so loud and ....".
"Be proud of yourself dear, you have been so brave at handling all this pain inside you . It was tough but so are you my love " karlye replied getting up.
He couldn't hold back anymore.
She blinked her tears falling , his arms reached out for her and without hesitation she fell into them .
" Your the most beautiful person , both inside and outside " he said.
"Even with my many flaws ?" she murmured.
"Yes my love even with your many flaws . I am so proud of you . This big step you have taken in telling me all this ,I know it must have been hard for you ".
"Thank you for being by my side and patiently waiting "her big teary eyes looked up at him.
Karlye pulled away , "no matter what happens love, you have me and many other people who love and will always support you "
"I know and am sorry I worried you all " she cried.
"It's okay to slow down when your coping with more . You were going through alot ".
"I fell lighter , why?" she cried.
"Cause you finally took that step into healing from all that pain. It will get even better with time " he said.
She fell back in his arms .
"I am sleepy " she murmured.
He chuckled laying back down with her.

Mira and David arrived at Karlye's place.
"Morning everyone , how is my beautiful pregnant bestfriend " Mira called out.
She always came in high spirits in hopes it would cheer up Andriana .
Andriana turned to see Mira and David walk in. She was having breakfast with Karlye.
"Your early " Karlye sipped on his coffee.
"Someone couldn't sleep after finding out about what happened yesterday " David glanced at Mira.
Mira ignored him and took Andriana's hand.
"Did she hurt you , I am sorry I couldn't make it . Had some important meeting I couldn't leave " she said.
"It's alright I understand and his mom was actually a warm person " she said .
"Really , I thought she ...." Mira stopped and paced back with surprised in her eyes.
David glanced at Karlye who chuckled.
"She can speak now?" he whispered to his friend.
Karlye nodded .
Andriana got up and took her friend's hand again .
"I am sorry I made you worry Mira. Will you forgive me " she said.
Mira burst into tears hugging her.
"You don't have to apologise dummy, I will never be angry at you " she cried.
Andriana hugged her back with tears in her eyes .
"I am sorry I didn't protect you enough ,you went through so much . I am so proud of you " Mira said through her tears.
Andriana burst into tears , "thank you Mira. Thank you for loving me " she cried.
"What are you saying I will always love you "Mira cried hugging her tighter.
Karlye got up , "Babe you cried alot last night it's not good for you or the baby if you keep doing it" he said.
She felt him pull her away from Mira .
"His right you shouldn't be crying too much " Mira agreed.
Karlye wiped her tears but she pulled away.
Andriana wailed , "but I can't stop ...am trying but it just gets worse ".
"Come here then " he stated. Andriana moved hiding her face in his chest staining his shirt with her tears.
"Is that normal ?" David asked.
"I think it's the hormones , she is pregnant remember" said Mira.
