AUTHOR'S POV
Max opened her eyes and saw that she was alone on the bed... She heard some noice from the kitchen and went there... Alex was cooking... He saw her coming and handed her a glass of milk....
He said, " Get freshen up and have breakfast I'll take you back to your home, you have class today right?" Max sipped on the milk and nodded her head....
After having breakfast she got up just then Alex handed her a box.... She looked confused... He said " Mom asked me to give it you " Max opened the box and there was a camera in it.... Max had mixed emotions... She gave the box back to Alex...
She said " I can't take it " He asked her, "You used to love taking photos... What happened now?"
MAX'S POV
I did.... But now I don't.... I said to him... He asked me why..... I told him.... You know why.... Alex understood me.... He made me sit on the chair and knelt in front of me grabbing both of my hands in his...
"It's over Max... You are save now.... Why are you leaving your happiness because of them? It's not worth it!!! "
I know it's not but I can't bring myself to do it again.... He hugged me.... He told me it's okay... To take my time... I said okay....
After that He dropped me infront of my home and gave me that camera....
He said " Mom will kill me if she knows I didn't give it to you.... Just keep it with you, maybe one day you will be able to take pictures again.... And she also told me to tell you She loves you and misses you, both her and Dad... And asked you to call her sometimes"
I nodded my head.... He left... His parents are the only people who stood by me all these years... Even after everything they trusted me helped me and healed me.... I smiled thinking about them....
I took my phone and searched for the contact Mom....
I texted her " Thank you for the gift... I love you and I miss both you and Dad...."
I send the message and in a few seconds her reply came.... " No need for thank you you are our child... Just take care of yourself and let us know if you need anything...."
I replied her a okay and went to get dressed...
I went to class as usual but today just as I entered Zack called out my name waving his hand at me... Everyone looked at Zack like he betrayed them.... I just got annoyed by his enthusiasm...
I sat beside him looking at him annoyed.... Before I could say anything he started telling me about his day after yesterday's class non stop... He didn't give me a gap to say anything.... So I just layed down ignoring him but he continued his talk annoying me....
AUTHOR'S POV
Days went by Zack and Max got close no one in the class liked them being that close ...
During the break hour just as Max went out everyone surrounded him.... One of them asked why he is getting involved with her.... Zack replied by saying that she is his friend... Everyone looked at him confused...
Jinny said.... "But you didn't like her and you even kept distance between your seats, why this sudden change?" Zack told them about what happened and he said
" She is not as cold as she looks.... She is actually quite nice... She helped me when I needed her... And she even brings lunch for me.... She tells me that I annoy her but she listens to me every time.... If she was really annoyed she would have already given me a good scolding or beating but she just lays down and listens.... She is really good to me and I like her"
Min said " I don't think so and don't forget she can never be one of us... She is just a transfer student who knows nothing about us" The others agreed with him....
Just then a loud noice came from outside...
" Jinny You bitch!!!! " Just then a group of girls and with few boys came inside the classroom....
Jinny asked them what is going on the girl who was shouting came towards her and slapped her across the face...
Everyone was stunned... Vik, Ray and Min pulled jinny behind them ready to strike just then one of them said " Why are you guys protecting this bitch? And you guys are going to hit a girl for her?!!!"
Min said " You guys were the one who came to our class and hit her first!!"
The girl who hit yelled saying that Jinny deserved it ... Just then Zack came in front saying that " Jinny isn't someone who deserves it the one who deserves it is you Gia!!"
Gia started cursing Zack... Just then Max came into the class with 2 bottle of juice with her.... She looked at the newcomers....
Zack seeing Max said " Max you are here.... They are causing trouble in the class... "
Max opened a bottle of juice and started drinking and walked right past them to her seat.... Everyone looked at her annoyingly and Zack looked betrayed by her....
Gai said " what did you think? Was she going to save you guys? She is Just a bitch like Jinny not just her the whole class is!!!"
Vik said" Stop this nonsense!!! Why the hell are you causing trouble here, what did Jinny did for you to hit her?"
Gai said that Jinny was flirting with her boyfriend yesterday and even went on a date with him....
Zack said " I trust Jinny she won't do anything like that " Everyone agreed with him...
Jinny came forward saying that it was her boyfriend who was flirting with her... even when she rejected him... He even followed her yesterday to the cafe she goes to...
Max was just sitting in her seat seeing the drama....
How dare you slander my boyfriend?!! Said Gia trying to slap Jinny again.... Zack got infront of Jinny and got slapped instead of Jinny.....
Ray was about to slap Gia when she said...
" What Ray? Are you going to hit me? Do it!! Let's see...."
Just then Vik said " Gia you guys clearly know if we cause trouble we will all be expelled that's why you guys are doing this right?!!!"
Yes... Said Gia.... I know that.... You rich good for nothing brats don't deserve to study with us!!!
She then looked at Zack and said " You little shit!! You just know how to get beated up!! Man up don't be a sissy for life!!! Or Maybe you really are!!!
Gia and her people stared laughing just then a sudden slap was delivered straight to Gia's face making her fall.....
Everyone was surprised and saw Max standing infront of Zack.... Max said " They can't hit you... But I can "
Just then one of Gia's friend a girl came to grab Max's hair.... Max grabbed her hand twisting it making the girl cry in pain and punched her stomach making her fall on the floor crying... Another girl came to hit her... Max kicked her making he kneel on the floor in Pain....
A guy came to hit her and Max puched straight at his nose making him bleed.... All Gia's friends got scared and ran away from the class... Leaving the ones crying in pain...
Max knelt and grabbed Gia's face making her stand and slapped her face again and again... Her cheeks swelled up and lips started bleeding....
Zack came forward and grabbed Max's hand making her stop.... Max looked at Zack... Zack told her to stop.... Max let got of her and she falled down on the floor.... Max grabbed her by collar and made her stand infront of Zack....
Max said " Apologies! "..... Gia didn't say anything.... Max then said " Seems like you didn't learn your lesson?" Gia got scared and apologized right away....
Max the told Gia if she ever heard her saying anything like this again.... She won't be able to speak in this lifetime ever again.... And she told her to control her boyfriend and never bother them again....
Max then looked at everyone on the floor and said " I guess you have learned your lesson... Don't come here ever again to cause trouble...Understood?!" All of them nodded their head....
Max said " I didn't hear you!" Everyone said yes.... Max told them to leave and everyone ran away....
Max then looked at Zack who's eyes were filled with tears.... Before she could say anything he hugged her....
