AUTHOR'S POV
Everyone reached the place including Ken... Zack pointed out at the alley were he got beaten up and Max saved him.... He told them she had some shopping bags with her so she must be staying in nearby...
Ray suggested asking at the shop and they went there... And the people at the shop recognised Max...
After asking around they found out where she lives... It was a small yet beautiful house a bit far from the shop....
They knocked on the door a few times but no one opened... They started getting worried... Just then they heard a voice of someone... They all turned around and saw a handsome guy standing there with some shopping bags....
He asked them who they are and what are they doing here.... Ken went forward and told him that they are here in search of a girl named Max and that he is their teacher...
The handsome guy introduced himself by saying that he is Max's friend and his name is Alex....
Alex asked them why they came here and why she didn't go to school.... Ken hesitated but then he told everything that happened....
Alex got frustrated he ran his hands through his hair.... Then he said " No wonder she didn't pick up my calls... In what state will she be in this time..."
Everyone got confused... Vik asked him what he meant... Alex shook his head and said you will see for yourself...
Alex went towards the door and knocked but no one answered.... Alex cursed and took a key from his pocket and Opened the door.... Everyone went inside....
The living room was clean except there were some bottles on the table... Alex went to the kitchen and there were many more bottles and ciggerate buds...
Alex was fuming in anger he put down the bags and went to the bedroom everyone followed him..
The door opened and a bottle on the ground greeted him.... He pushed open the door fully and there she was.... Sleeping on the bed wearing a t-shirt and shorts while hugging another wine bottle....
They looked around and saw many Alcohol bottles and ciggerate there also... Alex went towards her and started calling her... He checked if she was still breathing and when he realised she was alive he sighed in relief but then he was fuming in anger again...
He started shaking her to wake her but she was not waking up.... She just got annoyed and told him to leave her alone.... He got more frustrated....
He said " Don't make me lose my temper... Get the fuck up... Do you know how worried I am.... Get the fuck out of the bed!! " He yelled...
She replied saying " I told you leave me alone... Don't worry about me.... If I am to die just let me die... Don't care about me"
Hearing her words Alex lost his temper he picked her up and took her to the bathroom and but her in the tub and turned on the shower and poured a bucket of cold water over her head....
Max jumped up from the tub as the cold water hit her .... She started cursing Alex but he didn't mind he kept the shower on making her get drenched head to toe....
He then looked at Jiny and asked her to bring some clothes from the cupboard.. She nodded her head and went to take the clothes...
Max got her senses back she saw everyone in the bathroom looking at her... She yelled and asked everyone to go out....
Alex told everyone to make themselves comfortable at the living room... He will help her change and come....
They nodded their head just then Jiny came with the clothes and everyone left the bathroom leaving Alex and Max there....
ALEX'S POV
I have been calling Max for the past few days but she isn't picking up... I thought of going to see her but things here have been difficult...
I got some time and went to do sone shopping for Max... She won't buy anything unless her fridge gets empty and she may starve to death....
After shoping I drived to her house... As I parked infront of her house I saw many people standing in front of the door....
I thought it was them.... My blood boiled just then I took a closer look and realised it was not them...
I took the things I bought and went towards them... They saw me and one of them approached me...
That's when I realised it was her new school mates and teacher.... After learning what happened at school... I realised why she was not picking up my calls...
I got worried.... Last time she almost took her life by doing stupid things... I went and opened the door... As I suspected there were many bottles in both the living room and kitchen...
When I went to kitchen I realised that she hasn't been cooking for the last few days... So that means she has been just drinking and smoking....
I got worried... She had stomach bleeding before because of drinking too much and now she is doing it again...
I went to the bedroom there she was lieing there lifeless... I got worried... I confirmed if she was breathing again and when I realised she was my anger came back...
I stared yelling at her to get up but she was not she started talking still drunk.. I lost my patience and carried her to the bathroom and poured cold water over her...
She stared yelling and cursing but she came back to her senses... I told them all to go back to the living room and one of the girl's bought the clothes as I asked...
After they left I stopped the water and made her sit and took the towel and started drying her hair....
I asked her " what were you doing? You know your condition... You might have died"
She replied " I couldn't sleep... So I drank... Then I couldn't stop myself from drinking...
If I am going to die just let me.... There is no reason for me to be alive anyways.... "
Her words struck me... I kept drying her hair and asked " What about me? What will I do if something happens to you? What about Mom and Dad? They love you so much... They almost died of heartbreak last time..."
I couldn't stop the tears coming out of my eyes... Max looked me in the eye.... She wiped the tears....
She doesn't know how much I love her.... I kissed her forehead then placed my forehead on her's.... While crying I told her No to do something like this again...
Before even realising I started begging her not to leave me..... I hugged her tightly crying....
She hugged me back and called me a crying baby.... She is the only one who has seen me like this... The real me... The one who is in love with her for over a decade....
