Chapter 35: The Demons' Party and Morgana's Poison

A Party in Hell

While Diari and Rina were tied by the chain, almost dying of thirst, Liva's mother and Morgana decided to celebrate their victory and enjoy themselves. With Morgana's magic, a very large table was decorated with various foods, red wine, and many other things. The sound of loud, low, and terrifying music came from the darkness. Morgana raised her glass and said, "Cheers! To our joy!" Liva danced strangely while drinking and eating. He said to his mother and Morgana, "Seeing their weakness is the best thing of all." They began to eat and laugh, while Rina and Diari's hunger and thirst increased because of the smell of the food.

Morgana's Intervention: Poison of Delusion

Morgana knew Diari and Rina wouldn't break physically. She stood up and poured green liquid from her glass onto the ground. The liquid turned into a poison for them. Morgana whispered, "Since you won't drink water, eat the delusion of each other." This magic made them see each other's bodies as prey. Morgana's goal was for them to attack each other in hunger and eat each other's flesh. But Rina looked at Diari; her eyes were clouded, but she quickly struck her head against the ground to wake herself up.

Liva's Insults During the Party

Liva was drunk with his fake victory. He threw a piece of bone before Diari and said, "Here, eat it, you unfaithful dog! Eat it! Weren't you hungry? What are you waiting for? This is your share of our party." Then he went to Rina's father, poured the wine over his head, and said laughingly, "What happened, old man? Where are your prayers? Let your God accept your prayers and set a table like this for you, Hahaha! Useless! Curse you and your prayers." The father, whose body was like stone, only shed a cold tear—not for himself, but for the insults toward his children.

A Silent Defense

Though Rina's mind was almost failing due to Morgana's poison, she held Diari's hand tighter and said, "Diari, don't listen to their laughter... they howl like dogs because they are afraid of our silence. We won't give up; we will take revenge and succeed. I am with you." Diari couldn't speak, but in his heart, he said, "I love you, Diari's God." The red chain was now like a protective rope. When Morgana saw they still wouldn't attack each other, she broke the glass in her hand and said, "How stubborn! But our party isn't over yet." Rina said, "Diari, see what I said? Truly funny, they are afraid of our silence. I feel like laughing."

End of the Chapter: A Bloody Oath

Liva's mother stood up and turned to Rina, saying with a voice full of threats, "Tonight we celebrate, but tomorrow, before the sun rises, one of you must die so the other can live. Morgana changed the plan; tomorrow is the time for sacrifice." Rina looked at the black sky; her wounds were burning, but within her, she felt a vibration... as if the mark in her blood was screaming loudly. Rina said in her heart, "Eat and drink... for this is the last meal of your lives.
