Chapter 10 - The Biceps Giant

Boom…

Boom…

Boom…

With every step the towering giant took, the earth shook violently.

The tremors were as deafening as the detonation of a hundred kilograms of TNT.

What was even harder to believe—

Was that a man in a white lab coat was standing on the giant's shoulder.

His hair was whipped into disarray by the wind, yet his eyes burned with excitement.

"Wonderful! This is absolutely wonderful, little brother!"

"My intellect combined with your muscles—this is the strongest combination in the world!"

"The two of us will conquer everything and become the kings of this world!"

The giant referred to as the younger brother grinned as well.

The savage light in his eyes grew harder and harder to suppress.

Bang!

The giant casually swung a punch.

His massive fist swept across the ground like a giant broom.

High-rise buildings crumbled like tofu, instantly turning into rubble.

After throwing that punch, the giant even looked a little unsatisfied.

Witnessing the scene, the older brother froze in shock.

"Just a casual strike… and the city is already—"

After a brief daze, madness flooded the man in the lab coat's face.

He spared no effort in cheering his brother on.

"Well done, little brother! One blow and tens of thousands are dead—magnificent!"

"Keep going! Let the world feel our power and kneel beneath our feet!"

The giant brother curled his lips upward and exhaled a long breath.

Thick mist billowed out, making his face look even more ferocious.

"Emergency alert!"

"Emergency alert!"

"A massive lifeform has appeared in City D!"

"Disaster level: Demon!"

"All nearby residents, evacuate immediately!"

"All nearby residents, evacuate immediately!"

The piercing alarms echoed nonstop throughout City D.

The city instantly fell into chaos.

Even some heroes had their legs shaking, eager to flee first.

But at that moment—

Several luxury vehicles suddenly drove against the panicked crowd, entering the streets of City D.

Not long after, they stopped directly in front of the giant.

Swish—swish—swish!

Men and women dressed in black suits stepped out in unison.

Sharp-eyed civilians fleeing for their lives recognized them instantly.

"T–That's the Blizzard Group! Are they here to fight the giant?!"

"That giant killed tens of thousands with one hit! How dare the Blizzard Group challenge it?!"

"They've been performing amazingly lately, sure—but this is way too reckless!"

Most bystanders thought the Blizzard Group had lost their minds.

Meanwhile, the older brother on the giant's shoulder grew inexplicably excited.

"Little brother, look—so many people came!"

"Could they be heroes? The ones who specialize in killing monsters?"

"So scary~"

The giant brother laughed heartily after hearing that.

"Hah! People that small count as heroes?"

"One punch would be more than enough for them, brother."

The older brother's expression turned vicious as he shouted his order.

"Then crush them like ants, little brother!"

"Understood, brother!"

The moment the giant brother responded—

He lifted his foot, positioning it precisely above the Blizzard Group.

It felt like a mountain was descending.

The pressure alone blew fierce winds that knocked many people to the ground.

However—

The instant Hellish Blizzard, cloaked in her snow-white mantle, stepped out of the vehicle—

Countless yellow talismans surged skyward like a sandstorm.

"Eyelash! I'll bind him with the Immortal Binding Talismans!"

"Pull him backward and make him fall!"

"Roger!"

The man called Eyelash immediately took out the yellow rope behind him, focusing as he infused it with qi.

At the same time, the talismans Blizzard controlled rapidly spread across the giant's body.

Like predators locking onto prey, they plastered themselves densely over him.

In an instant, countless white chains burst forth from the talismans.

They intertwined, linked, and wove together, forming massive white nets.

The nets connected quickly—

Wrapping the giant in something like a white knitted sweater.

The giant's raised leg was immediately restrained.

His balance wavered violently, as if he were about to topple over at any second.

The older brother on his shoulder noticed the change and shouted anxiously.

"Little brother! There's something wrong with these nets—tear them off now!"

"Got it, brother!"

Though restrained, the giant brother's muscles suddenly swelled again.

The white "sweater" expanded to twice its size, looking as if it would be torn apart at any moment.

"Don't even think about breaking free!"

Eyelash, who had been charging up all this time, hurled the yellow rope toward the giant.

The rope seemed to come alive.

As it flew, it rapidly extended.

In the blink of an eye, it stretched tens of thousands of meters.

One end bound the giant's raised foot.

The other wrapped around massive piles of collapsed buildings.

Rumble—rumble—rumble…

The rubble scraped across the ground, producing a deafening sound like plowing earth.

And at the same time—

The giant's balance was completely destroyed.

"W–What's happening?! Little brother, hold on!"

"If you fall, you'll—!"

The older brother was terrified.

He knew all too well—

If someone of his brother's size fell, the result would be a catastrophic, mountain-shaking disaster.

And he, a tiny ant in comparison, would be crushed into dust by sheer inertia.

The giant might survive the fall.

But he would die without question.

"Brother… I'll try… I'll try not to fall…"

The giant clenched his teeth and forced himself upright.

For a moment, he actually slowed the fall, as if he might recover his balance after a few more attempts.

Seeing this, Blizzard raised her eyebrows and turned to the burly man beside her.

"Mountain Ape. Go help Eyelash."

"Cut the giant's tendons."

"Understood!"

Mountain Ape slipped on his pitch-black knuckle blades.

Like the ape he was named after, he moved with explosive agility.

In a few steps, he leapt high into the air.

Shhk—shhk—shhk!

Landing on the giant's single supporting foot, his knuckle blades slashed into the tendons and ligaments.

They cut through like soft tofu, leaving gashes behind.

Though insignificant wounds to the giant at first—

With time, small cuts became wounds that could no longer be ignored.

Especially on the leg bearing all the weight—

It began to tremble violently.

Boom!

With a thunderous crash, the giant slammed into the ground.

"Brother!!!"

The giant brother let out an earth-shattering wail, nearly rupturing everyone's eardrums.

Grief and rage overwhelmed him as he began rolling madly on the ground.

The Immortal Binding chains snapped one by one.

Breaking free was now only a matter of time.

The quake-like movements assaulted everyone's senses.

No one understood the sheer terror of this strength better than Blizzard.

She had used over three hundred Immortal Binding Talismans.

Normally, five or six were enough to suppress a Tiger-level monster.

Now, against this massive Demon-level giant—

Even three hundred couldn't restrain him decisively.

The realization sent a chill through her heart.

Her expression grew solemn beyond measure.

"Mountain Ape, retreat back to the formation."

"Everyone else—deploy rift barriers."

"I'll handle this monster alone."
