Chapter 11 - Four-Element Annihilation Cones

Rustle—rustle—rustle…

The members of the Blizzard Group moved in unison, swiftly forming a square formation around Blizzard.

A massive blue, spherical barrier rose instantly around them.

Looking closely, one would notice that every Blizzard Group member wore an identical pendant around their necks.

Each pendant glimmered faintly, sustaining what was known as the Rift Barrier.

As for Hellish Blizzard—

She reached into her storage artifact, the Void-Devouring Pearl, and took out a series of iron cones, each about the length of a forearm.

Every cone was etched with incomprehensibly complex patterns.

The tip was sharper and more angular than a mushroom cap, clearly designed for extreme penetration.

There were twelve cones in total.

All of them floated in midair, spinning at high speed under the influence of her psychic power.

These weapons had only been forged a little over a week ago.

Though Blizzard had used them before, she had never gone all out like this.

Twelve cones—four per set.

In truth, they were three complete combination arrays.

This was also the absolute limit of what Blizzard could deploy at once.

The reason she dared to use so many—

Was because Luo Yu had said during the design phase:

A single set is enough to defeat an ordinary Demon-level monster.

Against a Dragon-level threat, however, no amount would be excessive.

Luo Yu had strongly recommended using all twelve together.

And although this giant wasn't officially Dragon-level—

In Blizzard's eyes, he was already infinitely close.

More importantly, this was the first time she was showcasing her power to the world since receiving Luo Yu's tremendous support.

Failure was unacceptable.

If she was going to strike—

She would strike with everything she had.

No chances.

No mercy.

"He's gone completely mad! This guy's lost it!"

"Miss Blizzard, hurry up and finish him off!"

Mountain Ape, quick-witted as ever, immediately retreated into the Rift Barrier.

The giant had completely flown into a berserk rage.

Ripping apart the Immortal Binding chains, he began smashing everything around him with both hands and feet.

"Die! Die, all of you!"

"You're all the ones who killed my brother!"

His furious roar thundered endlessly from his mouth.

Now fully freed, the giant instinctively grabbed massive boulders and hurled them toward the Blizzard Group.

In an instant—

The sky filled with flying debris.

It was as if a meteor shower had descended.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The stones slammed repeatedly into the Rift Barrier, producing deafening explosions of shattered rock.

Yet only the rocks broke apart—

The barrier itself remained completely unharmed.

Seeing this—

The Blizzard Group members, who had been under immense pressure just moments ago, were stunned.

"S–So strong… stones that big hitting it nonstop, and there's not even a crack?"

"This barrier is insane!"

"That's not just 'hard' anymore."

"Mr. Luo Yu said this armor works by opening spatial rifts—any attack is fully redirected back."

"Using spatial rifts as defense… even Metal Knight can't do something like that."

"We really don't know how to repay Mr. Luo Yu."

"This time, we have to eliminate this Demon-level monster and live up to his expectations!"

They were facing a calamity capable of leveling cities—

Yet inside the Rift Barrier, the Blizzard Group felt unexpectedly calm.

"Kill you… I'll kill you all…"

The giant continued hurling stones in a frenzy, roaring with murderous intent.

But after several minutes—

He realized that the shell harder than a turtle's back showed no signs of breaking.

Frustration mounting, his attacks grew even more violent.

Boulders were lifted and smashed down relentlessly.

Earlier, his attacks were like a chaotic meteor fall—powerful but scattered.

Now—

They resembled hundreds of precision-guided missiles.

All striking the same spot.

Dense.

Relentless.

Devastating.

Even the Rift Barrier began to tremble.

"It looks like the barrier has a limit…"

"It's starting to give out…"

"I thought it could hold much longer—this is pushing it…"

Panic crept onto the faces of the Blizzard Group members.

And then—

A far more discordant voice rang out.

"Blizzard, what are you dragging your feet for?"

"This shield is interesting, I'll give you that."

"Are those twelve things your secret weapon?"

"Are you sure they can defeat that monster?"

A petite woman with features strikingly similar to Blizzard's—but with a far more immature figure—suddenly appeared in midair.

The sudden appearance startled everyone.

"Th–That's… Miss Tornado?!"

"Why is Miss Tornado here?!"

"I heard these barriers can detect hostility—so she's probably not here to attack us… right?"

Blizzard slowly opened her eyes and met her gaze.

After a brief flicker of displeasure crossed her face, she stared straight at her sister.

"I thought you'd do what you always do."

"Forcefully step in and solve everything for me."

Tatsumaki floated down lazily, pointing at the twelve cones around Blizzard.

"I saw something interesting, that's all."

"Your barrier caught my attention."

"And the power hidden in those cones makes me curious too."

"But honestly? I don't think you can beat that monster."

"His destructive power might be average—but his physical strength could surpass some Dragon-level monsters."

Hearing that, Blizzard understood.

Her overprotective sister was merely curious about the artifacts—

She didn't believe Blizzard could actually defeat the giant.

In her eyes, Blizzard was still the weak little sister who needed protection.

That realization lit a fire in Blizzard's chest.

Her aura surged violently.

Cutting winds spiraled around her body.

Her black hair shot straight upward.

"Then watch carefully, sister."

"Watch how I eliminate this monster."

"Four-Element Annihilation Cones!"

Buzz—buzz—buzz—

The cones, now spinning at extreme speed, shot into the sky.

Like supersonic jets, they left behind a continuous, ear-splitting hum.

All twelve pierced through the Rift Barrier and surged toward the giant.

"Hm?"

"What's this? Missiles?"

The giant frowned, immediately noticing the cones flying toward him.

His rage flared instantly.

"I don't care what they are!"

"Anything that appears before me will be destroyed!"

He roared, swinging half of a skyscraper like a baseball bat, preparing to smash the incoming cones.

But the formation suddenly shifted.

Three cones etched with crimson patterns moved to the front.

They began advancing in a spiraling formation.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three explosive booms rang out.

The leading spiral cones abruptly transformed into massive fireballs.

The flames intertwined, merging into a single, rapidly spinning inferno—

Which shot far ahead of the remaining cones, racing toward the giant.

As the blazing heat rushed closer, the giant's brows knit tightly.

He raised another section of a building.

"Don't think fire can defeat me!"

"I carry all of my brother's efforts and will!"

"I am the strongest, invincible being in this world!!!"

With a furious roar, the giant charged forward.

Swinging the skyscraper fragment with both hands, he smashed it straight down at the tip of the fireball.

BOOM—!!!

A heaven-shaking explosion erupted.

The skyscraper fragment held for only an instant—

Before being completely engulfed.

Terrifying flames surged forward, spreading across the giant's body in an instant.

In the blink of an eye—

He was entirely swallowed by fire.
