"Myotismon-sama is brilliant! With Lillymon captured, those warriors will definitely come running back to us!"
DemiDevimon cheered excitedly from the side.
"Myotismon... M-Master... aren't you still planning to head to the other world? To search for more power sources?"
Gatomon asked softly, her voice hesitant. Saying "Master" in front of DemiDevimon made a faint blush appear on her pale feline face.
Following Daniel's orders, Gatomon had already recruited a group of powerful Digimon from various regions. They were all eager and ready to follow Myotismon in conquering new territories.
"I'm definitely going to the other world. That eighth interference source is a major threat. If we can cross over, so can they. We need to find and neutralize it first! Capturing Lillymon is the perfect way to keep them tied down there."
Daniel replied casually.
Of course, that was one reason—but the real motive burned hotter. He had no intention of letting this pure, enchanting fairy Digimon slip away. Female humanoid Digimon were ridiculously rare in this world, each one a unique treasure with her own irresistible charm.
Looking at the petrified Lillymon in his arms, excitement surged through him. After twenty-plus years as a virgin, tonight in this anime realm, that was finally changing. His mother and sister back home would probably be... proud? Or at least relieved.
"It's almost dawn. Back to the castle first."
Daniel carried the delicate fairy Digimon effortlessly as he floated toward the carriage pulled by a dark dragon Digimon. Gatomon and DemiDevimon followed close behind.
Half an hour later, they returned to Dark City—his domain. But the castle was no longer silent. Noisy chaos echoed from inside.
"I'm sorry, Master... it must be the Digimon I recruited. They're probably fighting in there!"
Over the past two days, Gatomon had gathered many strong fighters, including a few Perfect-level ones that even she—still a Champion—couldn't fully control. She looked at Daniel apologetically, hoping for forgiveness.
"Can't even handle something this small? Useless! DemiDevimon—go in and see which idiot dares cause trouble in my Dark City."
Daniel was irritated. He had been looking forward to a proper "celebration," only for these fools to ruin his mood.
"Leave it to me, Myotismon-sama!"
DemiDevimon seized the chance to prove its loyalty and dashed inside.
Unfortunately, the Digimon inside showed no respect. Moments later, DemiDevimon flew back out even faster, crashing at Daniel's feet in a heap.
"Worthless!"
Daniel kicked the little bat aside and strode into the castle, still cradling Lillymon in his left arm. He wanted to see who had the nerve to act up in his territory.
Inside, three massive Perfect-level Digimon—MetalSeadramon, SkullMeramon, and Mammothmon—were locked in a brutal brawl, rolling across the hall in a whirlwind of destruction. The other Champions and Rookies cowered, too intimidated to intervene.
"Unbelievable. You think you can act like this in my castle without consequences? Demon Blood Whip!"
Rage flared. Daniel lashed out with full force. The crimson whip cracked through the air, striking each of the three Perfects with thunderous power.
Their colossal bodies were hurled back several meters. The fight stopped instantly. All three stared at Daniel with fear and submission—the whip had shattered their pride. The remaining Digimon immediately knelt, shouting "Myotismon-sama!" in unison.
In this world of survival of the fittest, strength ruled everything. Without it, death waited. Daniel's cold gaze swept the room—no one dared meet his eyes. Heads bowed low.
"Hmph. Cause any more trouble, and I'll delete you. Stay here and follow Gatomon and DemiDevimon's orders exactly."
Daniel flicked his black cape and headed toward the depths of the castle, to his private chambers.
At the door, the one loyal Perfect-level Digimon—SkullBaluchimon—waited faithfully.
"Report, Myotismon-sama: the ancient stone path to the gateway to the other dimension has been fully repaired."
A task from the original Myotismon—now complete.
Daniel already knew from the memories how to open the gate. He could cross to the real world anytime to hunt down that eighth interference source.
Once he lured the seven warriors there, the Dark Masters would likely begin sealing the guardian Sovereigns. As a dark-aligned force, he had no fear of the Dark Masters—but the holy Sovereigns were another story. This trip to the real world would be his chance to defy fate and seize true power. Success or failure—everything rode on it.
*My Ultimate form is powerful, but I'm not evolving into that grotesque thing. The only real path to greater strength is the supreme dual cultivation art. Legends say even divine figures ascended through it. My journey's just beginning.*
Gazing at Lillymon—petrified yet beautiful, like a sleeping fairy princess—his blood boiled with anticipation.
"Well done. Return to your posts. I'll notify you when we depart."
Daniel carried Lillymon into the room and laid her on the large bed. The old coffin was gone—replaced with something far more fitting.
SkullBaluchimon bowed and vanished like a shadow, golden scythe in hand.
Now the room held only Daniel and the motionless Lillymon—a man and a fairy, alone.
He looked her over slowly, desire growing with every glance. This ethereal, enchanting beauty was perfect. After all these years, tonight his long wait would end.
