This devil has become perfect in appearance now.
" If you don't stop looking at me like that I will start thinking besides your friend, you also really feel something for me!" The jerk spoke that before me shamelessly, surprisingly he was still composed indifferent and unreadable. He had his hands in his pockets and had his eyes on me. Did he find out I didn't write the letter to him or he is confused.No he probably didn't find out, how could he? That's impossible
" what do you want from me? I don't have time to waste on you." Looking at him reminded me of the worst moment of my life.
" You seem furious Miss Dale but I just wanted to meet you in person. I will get to the point, my sister and Stuart Heisting are engaged now, I hope you keep your distance from him, don't try to ruin my sister's relationship or else you...."
" Or else what? Or else what Mr. Sterling? You may think I fear you like anyone else does but I don't. You think you can always just come before me and speak anyhowly like you are speaking to your slave or some kind of loser, please stay away from me infact I have no relationship with Stuart because I possibly wouldn't like something that someone related to you even likes because I despise you so much, you know what I will take my leave because I don't even want to look at your face . I hate you so much, so so much, you are heartless, I have never seen a human being as cold as you. So you came to me in order to let me know of how you successfully forced Stuart to marry your sister, congratulations but just know all this will catch up with you one time." I couldn't believe I said all that to him, I was crying because I wanted a chance to tell him this and finally I did. However he just chuckled.
" You've got nerves now huh. You even speak to me that way. You are quite interesting but it won't be good for you being seen around Stuart. Good evening " he spoke his words calmly but the threarin his tone never skipped me. He turned to leave but turned back instead and out of the blue he kissed my temple.then he disappeared into the shadows.

He walked away but immediately after he had gone I saw Stuart run to me, asking me whether I was okay , he told me he had come to check whether i was okay. Stuart told everything that had happened since the day begun and he told me he had a plan. I didn't know what he was up to until he told me he wanted to take me away and leave the country, he said he would make sure my family is safe as well. I thought he was joking at first but I realized he wasn't. He drove me home and he told me he would let me think about it for sometime and give him an answer. That night I didn't sleep wondering how Stuart even thought I would agree to leave with him, first of all I didn't love him in the way he wanted, secondly I could not risk my future in such away and besides he was already engaged, he needed to accept that.
The next day news had it that Stuart and Avery were getting married that very day. I was not surprised because somehow Riven was meant to find out Stuart's plan. That man is just so powerful. Since it was a weekend I didn't have any lessons so I was home when I heard Stuart calling me at my door as if someone was chasing him.
" What is this Lindsey?" Stuart question me showing me a photo of me and Riven on his phone when he had kissed my temple and another when he had leaned in to tell me his " or else"
" what is all this Lindsey please say something?" He questioned me and I really had nothing to say to him. As a friend, this was the best thing I could do for Stuart if he didn't peacefully marry Avery, he would loose everything he had as well as his family yet he would not even get me since I didn't love him so I remained silent and let him think whatever he wanted, he was furious, I had never seen him like that.

" No wonder Riven wanted me to marry his sister so he could be with you I didn't expect this."He spoke furiously and pulled me out of my apartment .
" I am sorry Lindsey but I have no option left but to marry you by all means, I can't loose you just like that. " Stuart spoke holding my hand tightly
" you must be crazy Stuart, what is wrong with you " I tried to free myself from him but he dragged me out only to find a convoy of cars.
To my surprise, I saw Rean and Riven coming out of one of the vehicles.
" wow!! You really are here as expected, you are late for your wedding " Riven spoke looking at me rather than Stuart .I heard my phone ringing inside my apartment so i ran back and picked as it was my mum calling. Her voice was not as smooth as it usually was, i panicked on noticing that.
" mum is everything okay?" I quickly asked her.
" Lin, I don't know what is happening but the hospital has just informed me that I can no longer work there, they said some embezzlement of drugs and poor medical services from my sector have been reported so they are doing an analysis on that. The main problem is that they said my team and I are suspects." My mum spoke in fear, she is a strong calm lady who has always done her job honestly. Such a thing had never happened, could it be that Riven has a hand in this ?
" Mum let me call you back!" I was soon heading out when I got another phone call from Alia my step sister.
" Lindsey, you have to come here now. Dad has been taken by some men and Alicia did not return from school yet Allison said she told him she was coming home. Something wrong might have happened." Alia was so tensed as she spoke. I couldn't put these things together.
" first of all who took dad and why did they say they were taking him?" I asked though I already guessed who was doing this, Alia said they only told her to inform me. Why was Riven even doing that to me!!
My phone rang once again and this time round the caller ID was new to me. I decided to pick up because I was just ready for whatever was coming from Riven. It could only be him, that devil.
" Miss Lindsey, you need not worry about your people or your mum's health right now because she is safe , I promise to watch her well. Your father is resting currently and Alicia is chatting with her friends. Things will remain that way if you agree to whatever Mr. Riven says." That wasn't all before the call could end I heard a sound of a gunshot. Was this man really the same person who studied the international law.
" Are you marrying me or" was the first thing I heard on moving out. Riven went straight to the point without a halt. I looked at him tears just escaping my eyes. I didn't want to cry but I couldn't help it. The law I had studied all these years couldn't help me, I can't believe I was even doing a master's now yet all that was useless to me at the time I needed it most. Without money all that doesn't count,the law only shields the rich. Stuart was gone by the time I returned.
" what do you think of yourself?" Was all I could say to him because my head was a mess. Marry him!!!!!
" No force it's your choice." Riven spoke then turned around and headed to the car from which he came followed by Rean. My phone kept ringing but I didn't want to pick until I saw a message from my mum.
* Lin please come quickly I have been sent out of the house and all our things are out.* I think mum sent a message after I refused to pick calls.
* Lindsey, they are sending us out of the house , the men told us to call you but you aren't picking."* that was from Alia. My chest was nearly exploding, I couldn't tell what was going to happen to me soon, because my head was hurting from the temple. I felt was stomach ache, my heart was painfully performing it's duty but all in all I was feeling exhausted. I moved to the car where Riven had headed.
"I AGREE TO THE MARRIAGE" I shouted outside his car.
Immediately after my statement, one of his men showed me to another car and I followed in peace.
