You finally came
WRITER'S POV
It was already Friday but Stuart had not yet consented to the engagement even after his family had been threatened and pushed to the corners. The two families gathered that morning in a meeting that was called by Riven himself but he didn't appear as his habit was. His assistant declared that instead of Saturday, the engagement was to happen that evening and everyone was requested to prepare because everything was ready. They all looked at each other in curiosity wondering what that man had done. He was known for always getting what he wanted by all means since he was young. However, they all just waited because they knew what he had said would come to pass. Stuart still didn't appear in that meeting and no one had seen him since the day the news about the engagement was announced, wherever he was.....
On the other hand, Stuart was on his way to the airport when he got a call from one of his cousins informing him about what had just transpired. He didn't let his cousin know what he was up to but he had decided to leave the country until he received a call from an unknown contact which changed everything for him. Things were more serious than he thought.
" Are you coming for the engagement party or we should visit your little lover, you know her father's family a in town and right now se is soon coming out of a taxi heading to her residence at 7th Street GK Apartments room three. By the way since it is a Friday and the last one in the month I think she will be going out with her friends Leah Bradford, Miya Grey , Mark Jordan, Joel Nathaniel, Angie Jones and others but I guess those are her closest. Where was I... oh I was just wondering whether I should wait till evening at Forever Cafe,their favorite cafe or do what I have to do now oh by the way she is out of the taxi and now one of my men is just asking her for directions because he doesn't know this area well.. yeah seems like she is happy to help by the way she is beautiful, her perfect body shape rings a bell you know " Stuart was in shock as he listened to those words and it took him a minute to tell his driver to turn the car around.
" Don't you dare do anything to her or anyone close to her I will kill you." Stuart spoke as he turned the car around to head back.
" That's great I am getting news that you are heading back so just head to any place you are comfortable with, get yourself an outfit for your engagement. Don't you dare try to meet this girl or else I won't waste time making her and her family disappear from this country. It is late, the boss says you should be on your way now. " with those words the call was ended.
He got another message quickly
* YOU CAN'T MESS WITH MY SISTER AND THINK IT'S DONE. You are lucky to even be alive today after what you did to my sister don't think I didn't know about it, you are lucky she loves you or else I would have killed you long ago*

Stuart called his closest friend Justin Smith who helped him choose all he needed for the night. Everything was happening so fast, he knew they would hurt Lindsey if he didn't but he was the one who started that mess the moment he decided to get close to Avery Sterling those days. He thought he could just get out of it that way yet there was a price to pay. At the reception he found most of the family friends and even their families. The engagement took place but Riven still didn't show up. He said he was busy and indeed he was because he was not ready to attend such a party if not for his sister's stubbornness, he would not have let her marry that man but they had a history which she was still stuck in.
Lindsey and her friends always loved to spend the last Fridays of the month out together at their favorite cafe which was Forever Cafe. It was a high end and expensive restaurant but they made sure they always saved up for the day. Stuart had started joining them the last three months but this time round he didn't. The mood was not the same as they all knew what he was going through. They were not to his level financially but he had been down to earth enough to get join there company. They really felt for him but nothing could be done.

Lindsey felt like something was off, not at that particular moment but since the day began but now it was worse the moment they got into the cafe. She had her hair braided and wore a floral round dress simply. She was a natural beauty. One could say she made the sun shine with her smile. Her dental was perfect matching her black gums. She had those lips which one could call kissable. The way she moved her eye brows according to her mood complimented her beauty. She was a gorgeous lady especially her *don't mess with me aura*.
The moment they got into the room, her insecurity intensified as they went further to there reserved corner. The moment she chose a spot, pulled her seat and looked across the path besides her at the other end, her eyes locked up on the last person she expected in that place, * RIVEN STERLING*
Her friends were all wondering why she was just standing until she nearly accidentally dropped a flower vase which was held by Angie who was next to her It seemed like the rest had not seen what she had seen and she didn't know whether even Riven remembered her though they had both looked at each other for several seconds. Her breathing was not normal. She tried to act normal. Her and her friends continued with their conversations but she seemed off to them but they thought maybe it was because of her close friend Stuart since she had introduced him to them. After sometime, Lindsey looked back at the place where she had spotted Riven but he was not there anymore. No wonder she no longer felt watched. This time round he would surely kill her because of his sister if he found out she was the same girl. This was why she never wanted to get involved in Stuart's issues. She never wanted to meet that nemesis of hers again.
Lindsey breathed out after realizing Riven was gone. She could finally relax. Lindsey picked her phone when she heard her ringtone. However the contact was unknown to her, she picked but no one spoke. She hang up but the call came again so she moved out.
" You finally came out Ms. Lindsey Dale!!!" Lindsey froze in place on hearing that voice. She looked back and it was really him , he was coming closer to her , she hated this man yet feared him. There he was as handsome as ever. They described him to be handsome as the devil. He came closer to her and she felt herself nearly freaking out, his height first and foremost was on point, his dominant look even at a distance, his eyes were the same as his twin sister, they were alluring ocean eyes which made one want to drown in even though they showed a high level of cold and dangerous nature, his aura itself was not warm but rather intense, as he came closer she saw how the man before her was truly physically perfect, he must always work out to have that perfect physic. He had this exquisite masculine face, that jawline, his spotless skin and then the Adams apple on his neck. He was in a white shirt but his upper buttons were open and he didn't have a coat on. His shirt was folded slightly at the arms.
