Synopsis
There is a world unseen: the Jianghu. A world governed by martial clans, ancient oaths, and fragile balances, passed down in the shadows for centuries. When Émilie is struck by a poison as rare as it is deadly, Lucie is forced to enter this hidden world she once believed was merely myth. An inheritance of discipline, secrets, and irreversible choices awaits her... At the heart of this threat lies a legend: the Vajra Codex, a forbidden manuscript said to influence Qi, bodies… and destinies. But accessing its power means confronting those who guard the invisible order—and those who have already shattered it. Spanning France and Asia, Alayashi blends martial arts, Eastern philosophy, and modern tensions in a dark, spiritual saga.

Chapter 1 - Author's Note

The story of Alayashi was born from several influences: martial arts legends, manga, Buddhist and Taoist philosophy, and above all, the Hong Kong and Chinese cinema that has been with me all my life.

The Wuxia films of Shaw Brothers: their codes of honor, their clans, their tragedies.

The dark and contemporary gaze of filmmaker Johnnie To on the world of Chinese triads and the underworld.

The cinema of John Woo, with its themes of loyalty, irreversible choices, and the weight of destiny, profoundly shaped my world.

With Alayashi, I wanted to go beyond a simple action novel, adding a reflection on our actions and their consequences: the search for one's place in a world governed by forces beyond our control.

Here, destiny is not a straight line. It's a current. One can try to change its shore, sometimes struggle against it, but never stop its movement.

I write this story for the joy of sharing my passion.

I sought to carry the legacy of martial arts beyond their origins, revealing a universal dimension accessible to all, without confining them to a single culture.

Each character carries a part of me: a hesitation, a flaw, a conviction.

The shadows and lights of my daily life.

They are a reflection of my travels, my readings, my dreams, and even my nightmares.

Each of them is shaped by what I have observed or felt, but also by what I have loved... and what I have lost.

In the choices and battles of Alayashi's characters echoes the trace of what surrounds me and what has shaped me.

Thank you, to those who will take the time to read me.
