He just woke up after a short nap, ever since he woke up from the coma he was panicking alot, but Agatha made sure to keep his mind calm by the herbs so that her can communicate to the king as it was announced earlier he would visit as soon as he got to know about Adward waking up. Right Adward was calm and better, but he still was insisting to meet the twins first which was assured to him that he will soon. The twins were to be informed today about their father's health do that they could visit him today. They were not allowed to visit Adward everyday, but only when called, that's why they did not come today.
Verbena informed him that the King is coming to meet him and he nodded, as she left the room.
Ryle entered and as soon as he did Adward tried to move and correct his posture to which Ryle gestured him as not to do,
"it's okay lay down"
he said politely.
"sire" Adward paused his eyes down and his face still looked so pale anyone could tell he just got up from a coma, "I am truly grateful for your grace and mercy to get my treatment done in your greatest castle"
he said, his eyes were down in respect and gratefulness.
Ryle nodded and sat on the sofa near, and looked at him after quite a few minutes, then said
"I want you to tell me how did you get hurt and who did it" His voice was firm and his eyes were on him.
Adward's body tensed up, he exactly remembered what happened at his house before he passed out and went in coma,
Flashback:
knock knock
the door was being knocked and Adward was upstairs
"coming, please wait" he shouted from upstairs.
As soon as he came down the door stop being knocked. Adward proceeded to open the door but as soon as he did there was no one outside, he frowned and calm out of the house to see more if someone was tricking him but there was no one to be seen outside. He turned around and came towards the door and entered inside the house. When he was about to go upstairs the vase on the center table fell and scatter all over the floor into tinniest pieces. He looked back and his eyes wide open, Infront of him was the woman he never wished to see again
"Hello my dear" she said
Flashback ended:
his forehead had tiny sweat beets, his breaths were irregular as he told Ryle about Stella and what happened that day.
Ryle was just a bit relaxed as it was the same as was twins told him , he just wanted to make sure that the Twins were not lying about their mother not hiding something about her to keep her safe.
But then Adward said something that tensed Ryle much more than before,
"She's coming back sire" He looked terrified as he exclaimed.
"What do you mean Adward?" Ryle was stressed and confused
"I saw her before waking up from the coma, this is what she always do to put fears in my head , she uses black magic to appear in dreams whenever she wants " he said his voice cracking a bit.
Ryle was not sure if this man was going crazy or telling the Truth but he still asked him more so that he would what to do next
"what did she say to you?"
"she said she will take them Away" he answered, his expressions full of fear
"take who away?" ryle questioned again
"My twins"
