After the twins left her house she locked up herself in her room, Ellen came back late at night and did not come to see her as he thought she might be asleep.
Roselle was not sleeping she was wide awake, it was mid night she was still lying in her bed in a black silk nightgown, staring at the ceiling, the problems were suffocating her so much she felt like she would never be able to come out of all these problems. After two days it's going to be her 18th birthday, and she is not ready for that, was that not enough of a problem it self that now these strange paranormal activities started happening to her.
Roselle was in her thoughts when the window of her room got knocked almost in an inaudible way, she frowned still lying down.
There was zero energy to react on this stuff atleast right now so she felt it easy to blame the wind for that trying to close her eyes this time.
When the window got knocked again, and she immediately sit up looking towards her right side towards the window.
It was indeed a knock there was no other way, she went towards the window and opened it only to end up with wide open eyes,
"Mason!" she whisper shouted
she backed away to let him in and quickly closed the window,
As soon as she turned he was looking at her
"What the hell are you doing here?!" she asked him still shocked by his sudden appearance
"I wanted to see you" he confessed, making her frown in confusion
"see me? why?" she asked blinking and panicked a bit her hair were open and falling down on her shoulder down to her waist. she had long burnet hair .
He was so lost looking her hair loose open dancing on shoulders and down to her waist that he did not focus what she just asked.
"Mason!" she whisper shouted again
"huh?" he zoned back looked in her eyes,
"what are-" before she could complete he said
"I did not know you had that much long hair" he said in an amazed way .
Roselle could not respond because 'is this man mad or something?? I am panicking about him being here at the middle of the night and he is talking about my hair???' she thought and he chuckled because he heard.
'love how you react to my confessions ' he thought.
and proceeded to close the gap between them , roselle stepped back cause ain't no way this man was doing this in her room at mid night!
"mason I-" does mason ever let's her complete her sentence? no!
"shhh" he said putting his finger on her lips leaning down,
their eyes met, her heart was definitely not beating normal making him enjoy it more.
"why do you ask so many questions? and why did you call me a mad man" her eyes could not help but widened because as always she forgot he could listen her thoughts.
she held his hand and took it away from her face, "You are so ill-mannered you know that right!?" she asked him in a sarcastic way covering her embarrassment.
"brave of you to call the prince ill-mannered, love" he said closing the gap between them.
Roselle got nervous and his presence was intimidating her more
"I-" "You?" he repeated after her in slow husky voice
she gulped, "M-mason" and he hummed listening his name "why are you here" she gathered the strength and asked.
Even he did not know the answer, 'You are pulling me towards you, yourself, you can not ask me why I am here rose' he thought
"I was worried about you" he said putting her hair strand behind her ear slightly touching her earlobe and the skin of her neck.
she blinked as she could feel the tension and heat building up .
"I-I am alright, you need to leave my dad would wake up" she gulped and asked him to leave
he sighed, even though he wanted to stay he can not,
"okay I will but"
"but?" she asked, they were still standing close near the window
he kept looking into her eyes and his one hand went towards her hair he cressed her head softly and she closed her eyes nervously
"I want you to know everything is going to be okay, the whispers and whoever is doing them , I will make sure they are gone hmm?" he said and she opened her eyes looking at him .
'there is this strange comfort I find in this man I don't know why and I don't know how this man makes me feel secure with his presence' she thought
he heard and something deep down in him felt glad she trusts him.
"Is there something you are still stressed about besides the whispers?" he asked
she did not want talk more because she was was scared that Ellen might hear their voices.
Of course they were vampires they could evesdrop
but when mason asked about other stresses her mind immediately went towards the birthday thought, she tried to suppress her thoughts but he heard the '18 birthday, don't want to turn'
"nope" she said before she could think more about it.
Though he heard her he still nodded and said,
"meet me tomorrow in the woods, will you?" he asked holding her left hand softly.
at this point roselle for real wanted him to leave so she agreed
"okay , now please leave mason before someone wakes up" she pleaded
"ok ok I am going, take care of yourself" he said tilting his head and softly cressed her hair before leaving.
she sighed heavily
'what are you doing to me' she thought

Arora was not very peaceful here in the castle as all of what happened to her kept messing up her mind so she decided to go to Clybia for sometime.
She went to ryle to take permission to go Clybia.
Arora knocked the door, he asks her to come in
"how is my daughter doing" Asked Ryle.
"I am okay" she said shortly.
he nodded and gestured her to sit
"I wanted to ask you for something" she said
"yeah why not , let me know what do you want" asked Ryle.
"Umm... I want to go to Clybia for sometime" she said
Ryle frowned, "Clybia?" he repeated
"Yeah, Clybia...I want to go the palace of Clybia for some time" she said again
"did someone said something to you? are you mad at something or someone?" He immediately asked, as he was worried she might be upset about something
"no I just want to have some alone time to myself only, please" she insisted
"I understand but I would still ask you to stay here with everyone you would be distracted here , I am afraid you would get more depressed there alone" said Ryle
but Arora still insisted on going to which he agreed.
Arora specifically asked for Royal guards and transport for her to lessen the chaos.
And he ordered a whole group of gaurds to go with her.
The next morning Arora left the castle with the guards and Royal cart in which she was sitting.
Hours went by they were almost there it was almost evening the sun was going down, they just had to cross the forest only now and on the other side was the town Clybia.
As they went into the forest and reached the mid forest suddenly it started getting hot .
Arora started feeling her skin burning, and the guards started panicking too.
This was the most unusual that could happen, it was almost evening and no sun how could it possibly be this hot , and the forests are cooler inside it was supposed to be cold not hot.
Arora looked out of the cart window and called for Gabriall.
one of the three main guards who were responsible for her safety .
She asked Gabriall to go back immediately and inform Ryle about this unusal scenario.
to which he nodded and left .
while Arora ordered to move faster and they successfully crossed the forest after half an hour.
but Arora could still feel her skin having that burning sensation.

Next morning they were doing breakfast when syra looked at roselle and internally smirked.
"How are you now roselle" she said making the sweetest fake accent she ever could.
Ellen looked at them still normal as he thought she might be asking her that because of the fire thing that happened
while roselle said "I am good" shortly and continue eating.
"That's great else I was really worried about you last night , you looked terribly pale and vulnerable" she said and that was enough for Ellen to frown and look at roselle in worry
and at this point roselle was truly annoyed by syra.
it was not that she hated her but she was for real tired of everything that has been happening lately.
"what happened, something happened last night? rose?" Ellen asked immediately
roselle looked at her father and sighed
"nope, I just had a breakdown when I was out with the twins nothing more, I was stressed out about the fire that's all dad" she said calmly
she lied.
Ellen went quiet after that, as he thought that day was still messing up with Roselle's mind.
After the breakfast when Ellen left and roselle was about to leave
syra spoke
"you lied didn't you?"she smirked again
"Enough syra what is wrong with you?" said seline for the first time
syra did answered her and kept looking at roselle
"You need to stay out of my business syra stop poking your nose in my matters" she warns her
Syra stomped her feet and went to her room.
leaving both of the girls disappointed by her behavior towards them.
