She felt herself being suffocated in that room, and inhaled air as heavily as she could but she could feel her heart rate dropping down , looking around all she could feel and see was darkness, suddenly someone walked passed her , roselle panicked and gulped hard
'who is it?' she called out
the darkness unabled her to see the person properly.
she stood up from the floor of that room and slowly walked forward,
now the door was visible to her at a distance,
'Sanguisugam Interfice' someone whispered near her left ear
she looked towards her left terrified by the voice.
Roselle could feel her body shivering badly
Out of nowhere the person ran towards the door in a weird way as if had a broken leg.
She saw that person, it was definitely a woman, a woman with Ashy messy hair.
She walked behind her calling her out
'hey, please stop, who are you?' she. asked with a trembling voice
her hand and feet were cold and palm and forehead were sweating.
She chased the woman matching her speed but could not keep up with her.
The woman walked out of that dark house, Roselle walked out behind her but rather than feeling the fresh air , her skin started having a burning hot sensation as if it would burn her alive.
she looked around trying to look for the woman but she was not there anymore.
Roselle kept walking ahead trying to call her out
'hey? please do go away! please let me know who are you? don't leave me here alon' at the end her voice cracked .
walking more yet alone was painful and scaring her too so she decided to walk back to the house her body could not stand the temperature either
as soon as she turned around she saw the woman standing near the house door at a very distance from her.
Roselle gulped, and did not walk neither call her out
she felt a trigger by her presence but before she could move back
the lady disappeared and in a blink she appeared right Infront of her with no space between them, the sudden jumpscare took roselle off guard and before she could focus on her face the woman screamed
'SANGUISUGAM INTERFICE!!!!!'
She woke up!
Her whole body was covered in sweat roselle looked around, she was in her bedroom. The sunlight was peeping through the window inside her room. After the breakfast she went back sleeping as she did not sleep at night and now that she woke up it was almost 2 pm.
After freshening up she came out of her and walked downstairs,
no one was at home except syra , she did not came out after the breakfast
seline was at her friend's house while Ellen went to visit Adward at the apothecary with the other men of the neighborhood.
Twins won't come today as they would do the house chors as Adward might discharge soon, they informed yesterday before leaving.
This was the perfect time for roselle to go to the woods to meet him.
She came back in her room changed in to lilac top and white long skirt , braided her long hair.
She left the house.
All the way she was wondering what if he'd not be there, they never discussed the time.
But as soon as she reached the spot they usually have an encounter on. she saw his horse.
But mason was not there, she went to his horse at patted his head softly, the horse was not aggressive rather more polite than she thought it would be.
"You are here" his voice came from the back
she turned around and there he was as usual in all black.
"yeah" she said while he walked forward, he looked at her quite in a different way than usual, in a more observing way.
her hair , hair face, her a bit tried eyes than usual.
"did not sleep at night?" he asked he titling his head
he was now standing right in front of her.
she shook her head in no.
'why would you tell him that' she scolded herself.
mason smiled a little, and that was when she realized he heard and he would obviously ask why she did not sleep well,
"why did you asked me to come here". she immediately asked before he do.
His energy is always calm rather than her, a bit chaotic a bit clumsy but cute.
He was still smilingly while he ruffled her front hair that were loosely falling down out of her braid.
she made a 'stawp' grumpy face and put the hair strands behind her ears.
"Rose" he called her name softly
"huh?" she said still busy in setting back her hair strands.
"What is it about your 18th birthday that you are worried about?"
he straight up asked.
she looked up at him with a little hesitant expression.
"let me know Rose, you can tell me what is it that is stressing you up that much" he asked giving her a reassuring look.
Though they just met quite a few times only but that man, this man was slowly having his grip on her mind so much that even she knew she shouldn't and she was still doing it anyways.
She opened up about it.
"I don't want to turn" she said
"why?" he asked
"I don't want it! I don't want to be going out there drinking people's blood sucking the life out of them I don't want it!" she said a bit frustrated
this question 'why' was so annoying to her because do they all not have any empathy towards the living creatures out there?
He was taken a back by the strange confession.
he never heard of it nor he ever thought of that turning phase like that.
growing up it was the most exciting part of his life because he was taught to be that way since he was born.
'with how many more ways is she going to make me curious about her existence?'
he thought to himself
"But that is how we live Rose, this is our life , this is how we stay alive " he tried to make her see the basics again, he thought she might be so confused she forgot it's her need.
"This is not where it end, and even if it does I would gladly fie than kill!" she confessed
He was just looking at her with wide open eyes
this girl was something else there is no other way he was talking to a normal lil vamp.
"what do you mean it does not end here?" he asked being confused.
she took a long breath before continuing
"Did you not see what happened yesterday, and the first day we met, the fire and the magic that appeared out of nowhere tomorrow "
she took a pause
" according to what my dad and the people of the neighborhood have been saying, I have been furtuned to posses a special aspect that would be revealed as soon as I turn 18, my father does not believe that he has been standing for me protecting me from people and their comments , he believe as soon as I will turn it would be proven that I am an ordinary vampire and nothing, but from past weeks I have been having these paranormal activities around me and with me and the nightmares-" her voice cracked
he hugged her.
she took a long breath to stop herself from having a breakdown Infront of him
He stayed like that untill she felt okay,
for her he listened he cared enough to stay till she calmed down, she was now feeling more secure.
"what about the whispers, do you know that lady who was chasing you?" he asked.
she shook her head.
Roselle told him about the nightmares and that whisper lady,
even she did not know why she was opening up to him that much but she did anyways
And mason's urge to protect her got stronger than before.

Joseph was helping out his sister in the chors while jodeth was cooking lunch for both of them.
After cleaning the room Joseph came out of the room with the dirty dishes and put them in the sink.
He looked at Jo and asked " Jo!"
she hummed
"what do you think about that prince?"
"prince who?" she asked
he looked at his sister being so done by her absent mind
"Obviously that guy Mason!" he said annoyed
"oh!" she said "handsome isn't he?" she said looking towards Joseph
and he was so done again by that compliment
"I am not asking you to compliment him, what do you think about his personality?"
"I think he is not arrogant the way I assumed a prince could be , I think he is more like a kind polite man, o God did you see the way he was so invested in caring about Rose yesterday?" she exclaimed
he made a face
"I feel like, only if he was not a prince they could be the cutest couple, I kinda ship them" she said laughing
Joseph looked his sister totally irritated 'what is actually wrong with my sister ' he thought and made a bad face
"Don't even think of it, did you forget roselle don't like him, remember she said he hears her thoughts? he is literally ill-mannered " said Joseph
"oh yeah... anyways " she laughed it off again getting busy with the cooking
but her talking about Roselle's compatibility with mason was messing up Joseph's mood now
