"If I said I didn't know, would you believe me?" Levi was caught in a bind. This was only his second time meeting the one-eyed Goddess, and the blessing hadn't appeared all day—not until they met for the second time this evening.
"Wait! I get it!" Levi slapped the bed frame. "Think about it, Hestia. It's 'Inquisitive Love.' While it counts as affection, the focus is clearly on the 'Inquisitive' part!"
"Ohhhhh?" Hestia crossed her arms, looking like she was waiting for a better excuse.

Hestia wasn't stupid. She caught on immediately. "She was attracted by your sword and that orb, and that curiosity turned into interest in you?"
Levi nodded. "Exactly. It seems my magic classifies any positive, non-romantic interest from a Goddess as Rank I. Only at Rank II or where you are, Rank III, does it become actual romantic feelings in the mortal sense."
Levi didn't think he was some world-class charเมอร์ who could make anyone fall in love with a single touch. But if Hestia knew what he was thinking, she would have argued.
