Half an hour later.
After carefully reading the descriptions in the Level 2 Genshin pool, Levi noted down his targets and found the [Low-Tier Constellation Voucher]. According to the system, Constellations were items specifically used to strengthen a corresponding Elemental Vision.
Upon first use, a Vision without a Constellation would manifest a phantom constellation of five dark stars and one bright star. The Vision's rank would automatically jump to 4-Star, and it would grant the ability to release Combat Skills (Elemental Skills) and Burst Magic (Elemental Bursts). Each additional Constellation would light up a dark star, providing various buffs.
Levi had played Genshin Impact in his past life. Though he quit early, he knew which skill sets were strong. If he could, he wanted Zhongli's Constellation for absolute defense, but the "Archon" tier wasn't available in this low-tier voucher. Even Adepti-level Constellations weren't unlocked yet. However, many characters considered 5-star in the game—like Ayaka, Hu Tao, or Diluc—were mixed in with the 4-star options here.
Levi was a steady person. He knew that survival was the only way to maintain damage output. In the Dungeon, as long as you stayed alive, you could always grind down your opponent. Thus, he set his sights on the Constellation: Feles (Diona).
The two spells granted by this constellation were:
Icy Paws: Consumes Cryo energy to create ice paws for attack. Upon hit, the user gains a 360-degree translucent spherical shield. The damage absorption is proportional to the user's Endurance stat.
Signature Mix: Consumes Cryo energy to throw a phantom cocktail. It creates a field that continuously heals the user and allies while dealing Cryo damage to enemies. Once it vanishes, it restores 15% of the Vision's Cryo energy.
One provided a damage-absorbing shield; the other combined Area-of-Effect (AoE) magic, crowd healing, and energy restoration. It was Levi's dream set for the Lv.2 stage.
Levi tapped the 10-pull button.
Whoosh! One blue, nine greens. Whoosh!Whoosh!
Perhaps it was a "new level" luck bonus or his [Luck I] ability, but on the eighth 10-pull, a purple light flickered.
[You obtained: Low-Tier Constellation Voucher x1, Lv.2 Specified Stat Boost (+100) x1, Lv.2 Specified Stat Boost (+10) x5, Skill Proficiency Boost (100 days) x3.]
He converted the voucher into Feles. Then, he spent another 160 pulls on the Level 1 pool to get a second Cryo Vision to merge (hitting a pity along the way that gave him a useless 3-star Catalyst). The result was:
[Cryo Vision (Constellation: Feles - C1) • 4-Star (Bound)]Cryo Energy: 0/200 (+100) Skill: Icy Paws • 4-Star: Consumes Cryo to fire paws. On hit, grants a Cryo shield. The shield's absorption scales with Endurance. Max absorption can stack up to 10x the user's Endurance stat. Burst: Signature Mix • 5-Star: Consumes 100 Cryo to create a healing/damage field. Healing scales with Endurance; range/duration scale with Level and Magic. C1 Bonus: Restores 15% Cryo energy when the field vanishes.
With the upgraded Vision in hand, Levi needed to test it. He found that the mana-to-Cryo conversion ratio was the same, but the passive environmental absorption was faster. He could now dump 2 points of Cryo into an attack for a stronger frost enchantment.
He decided to test the actual spells in the Dungeon to avoid collapsing the church. Finally, he pulled out a Lv.1 Stat Boost (+10) voucher from his inventory and ignited it with his mind.
Next second.
[Endurance: I1 / SSS1299 → I2 / SSS1299]
Watching the slight change in his status bar, Levi curled his lips into a smile. 'This way, I don't have to worry about wasting the low-level stat vouchers.'
Now that he had a Vision equipped with both a shield and healing, the next natural step was to pull for matching weapons and artifacts. For long-range, he could keep using the Recurve Bow since it restored vitality upon kills. However, for melee combat, he was in dire need of a blade now that his Flying Sky Sword had been sold to Hephaestus.
After a quick search through the options, he finally settled on the 'Favonius Sword'.
