Chapter 24 - Chapter 24 — Gacha in Progress

[Favonius Sword • 4-Star][Indestructible]

Moderate increase to Mana recovery.

Restores a small amount of Mana when hitting a vital point or killing a target.

Levi had no intention of making his "Mystery" public knowledge. For the foreseeable future, he planned to act alone or perhaps with Tsubaki to stack Great Feats. Therefore, as long as his damage output could pierce a monster's defense, every other gacha choice should prioritize sustain and endurance.

Healing was covered by his Vision's magic. As for the Mana required to fuel that magic, he clearly needed external help until he could obtain the development ability Spirit Healing.

In the second round of pulling, Levi's luck returned to its usual "average" state. He went 70 pulls without a hit, and on the 80th, he pulled a Lithic Spear that didn't quite suit him:

[Lithic Spear • 4-Star][Indestructible]

Moderate increase to weapon attack power.

Strength increases slightly for every member of the same Familia in the party (including the user). Max 4 stacks.

It took another 700,000 Valis before he finally snagged his target.

From the third to the seventh round, his luck remained mediocre. He set the target to 'Low-Tier Artifact Vouchers'. He hit the target on the 60th and 70th pulls in rounds three and four, respectively. However, rounds five through seven cost him 1.4 million, 1.3 million, and 1.4 million Valis.

During this time, he pulled two off-target skill books. One was the standard attack for the Mondstadt "Librarian" Lisa—Lightning Touch. Since it counted as magic, Levi tossed it into storage to gather dust. The other book, upon use, became:

[Starshatterer Spear Style • 4-Star (Novice 1%): Grants Development Ability 'Spearman I'; basic mastery of the style.]

It was a perfect match for the Lithic Spear he'd pulled earlier.

His final item was a Low-Tier Constellation Voucher, which he used on his Vision to unlock the second constellation point for the Feles (Kitten) constellation.

[C2 Bonus: 'Icy Paws' damage moderately increased. Shield absorption moderately buffed. On hit, grants a shield with 50% absorption strength to allies.]

Levi opened his inventory and exchanged five vouchers for the Exile Set: Flower of Farsight, Feather of Homecoming, Pocket Watch of the Exile, Goblet of the Exile, and Exile's Circlet.

[Exile Set • 4-Star][Indestructible / Soul-Bound]

Individual Pieces: Moderate increase to Endurance, Strength, Dexterity, Agility, and Magic.

2-Piece Bonus: Moderate increase to Mana recovery.

4-Piece Bonus: Grants Development Ability 'Spirit Healing I' for one minute after using magic or an active skill.

Artifacts were equipment for the soul. Once the Exile Set dissolved into light in Levi's palm, his five core attributes gained an additional "+200" suffix, similar to the state of his Mana Burst.

With 770 pulls completed, he had accumulated enough stat vouchers to push his five dimensions to the absolute limit of Lv.2. He ignited them in order from low-level to high-level until he had reached the cap.

[Levi Bright]Level: 2 Strength / Endurance / Dexterity / Agility / Magic:SSS1299 + 200 / SSS1299

In less than an hour since parting with Hestia, Levi had reached the pinnacle of a Lv.2 adventurer. With his artifacts, gear, and skills, he estimated he could hold his own even against a seasoned Lv.3!

He spent the next two hours burning through proficiency vouchers to master his new combat styles.

[Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu • 3-Star (-): Grants 'Swordsman F'; perfect mastery of all techniques.][Starshatterer Spear Style • 4-Star (Adept 2%): Grants 'Spearman G'; mastery of advanced moves.]
