Listening to Eric's words on the light screen, Derrick's brows furrowed slightly.
Spirit Weapon, Force Weapon, and Force Armor!
These three items were all controlled goods on Kuka Planet, obtainable only through official channels by exchanging contributions.
It was normal for Little One, a Martial Artist and a student at the Joint Training Camp, to have a Tier 1 Force Weapon.
But to have a damaged Spirit Weapon, that was very abnormal!
"Little One!" Derrick asked nervously, "How did you get this damaged Spirit Weapon? You mustn't do anything that violates the Empire's laws!"
Being questioned so suddenly, Eric looked startled. His thoughts raced, and he quickly guessed the source of his Father's tension and worry.
So, he smiled and explained, "Father, don't worry! This Sky Piercing Sword was obtained by our team during a grassland trial.
"Not only do I have one, but the other four members of our team also have them. They definitely weren't acquired through smuggling."
Hearing this explanation, Derrick's tense nerves finally relaxed. "That's good."
The reason he was so worried was that smuggling controlled weapons was a serious crime on Kuka Planet; anyone involved in smuggling would be dealt with severely!
He didn't want his promising nephew to be ruined by smuggling.
After clarifying, Eric saw that his father had stopped speaking, so he continued to Ender, "Eleven, besides the Sky Piercing Sword, there's also a Secret Manual I asked a friend to get for me in the Virtual Universe.
"However, for how to learn and use the Sky Piercing Sword specifically, it's best to consult Sixth Uncle. After all, he is currently the only Planetary Level Spiritual Master in the Family and has experience using Spirit Weapons."
Hearing this, Ender took out the components of the Sky Piercing Sword and found a compartment at the bottom of the metal box. Inside the compartment was a very thin book.
Having learned the universal language of the Universe since childhood, Ender had no reading difficulties and easily recognized that the Secret Manual's cover read "Cloud Soaring Sword's Sky Piercing Sword Detailed Explanation."
After getting the Secret Manual, Ender nodded, "I will, Big Brother."
"Since the gift has been delivered, it's time to get down to business," Eric thought to himself.
"Father, could you please leave for a moment?" Eric said to Derrick, "I'd like to talk to Eleven alone."
"Alright."
Derrick nodded, then turned and left.
After Third Uncle left, Eric spoke, "Sigh! Eleven, you've been a bit lazy these past few years."
Ender nodded, remaining silent.
"I know what you're thinking." Eric smiled gently, "You love the Family and don't want to leave it."
Hearing this, Ender suddenly looked up, his expression astonished!
He didn't want to leave the Family; he had never told anyone else this.
How did Big Brother know his thoughts?
"Because you don't want to leave the Family, you've become lazy," Eric continued. "You're trying to delay the time you have to leave the Family, even saying you'll go to Morning Light Academy after you turn sixteen."
"Big Brother, how did you know?" Ender couldn't help but ask.
"How did I know?" Eric explained with a smile, "Of course—I've had the same thoughts before."
Hearing his Big Brother's answer, Ender was slightly stunned. Recalling his memories of Big Brother, it was indeed true.
Before he was even born, Big Brother had already gone to Morning Light Academy to Cultivate. Every time he returned, he would play with his younger siblings.
It wasn't until he went to the Joint Training Camp that he couldn't come back due to distance, but no matter how busy he was, he would still make time to video call his younger siblings.
Thinking of this, Ender smiled, "So Big Brother, you used to have the same thoughts too.
"Since that's the case, are you still planning to persuade me, Big Brother?"
Eric raised an eyebrow, "Persuade? Why wouldn't I persuade you?"
"Then how do you plan to convince me, Big Brother?"
Eric's smile faded, "You've been to the grassland, and you've seen the living conditions of those weak tribes.
"What do you think of them compared to our Royce Family?"
Ender remained silent.
"Very weak, right?" Eric didn't wait for Ender's answer and continued, "Not to mention encountering a Planet Level Demon Beast, but even encountering a slightly larger group of Demon Beasts puts them at risk of being wiped out."
Ender nodded. He had seen the living conditions of the weak tribes on the grassland; they were worlds apart from the Royce Family!
"Then what do you think of our Royce Family's living environment?" Eric asked again.
Ender was puzzled. Did this even need a comparison?
One was about survival, the other about living; there was no comparability between the two!
"There's no comparison! Right?" Eric asked again.
Ender nodded. Indeed, there was no comparison.
"Go to Morning Light City! You'll understand once you've been there," Eric suddenly said.
Ender frowned, "It's Morning Light City again!"
First his father, now his Big Brother. Why did both of them say he would understand once he went to Morning Light City?
Riddle solvers, truly a headache!
Couldn't they just say it directly?
Seeing Ender's furrowed brow and confusion, Eric said softly, "Some things cannot be described with words; only by truly seeing and experiencing them will you understand.
"Eleven, Grandfather, Father, and the elders all think highly of you, believing you are the future hope of the Family."
"Isn't there Big Brother? Big Brother is the hope of the Family," Ender said, perplexed.
Eric shook his head slightly, "A Family cannot have only one hope, one pillar."
"Can't have only one pillar?" Ender murmured softly, understanding.
Recalling the original work, the Golden Horned Beast, which had more screen time, only had one pillar, Golden Horn Master. But after Golden Horn Master's fall, their tribal status plummeted, and they eventually had to rely on the Human Race.
"Eleven, I hope you'll think about what we've talked about today," Eric said. "Finally, I still suggest you visit Morning Light City, even if you don't go to Morning Light Academy temporarily."
"Morning Light City, huh..."
Ender took a deep breath. If he could, he really didn't want to go to Morning Light City. He knew how advanced the technology of the Universe's humans was, and going to Morning Light City might expose the secret of his body. But if he didn't go, he couldn't be with his Family.
Helpless, he could only nod and say, "Big Brother, I will go to Morning Light City."
"It's enough that you're willing to go to Morning Light City." Eric was confident, "I believe you'll change your mind once you've been there."
Seeing Ender willing to make a change, Eric felt that today's goal had been achieved. He picked up a piece of clothing and put it on. "Let's end our chat here today. I still need to go practice movement techniques with Dahlia. I'm signing off now."
Looking at the closed light screen, Ender smiled. He was happy that his Big Brother had a lover.
After his happiness, his smile faded, and he began to ponder, "What secret does Morning Light City hide?"
Unable to find any clues, Ender looked down at the metal box containing the Sky Piercing Sword and the thin "Sky Piercing Sword Secret Manual."
He picked up the Secret Manual and read it carefully, then began to think, "The Secret Manual says that to use the Sky Piercing Sword, the Spiritual amplitude needs to reach 8. For each additional Sky Piercing Sword, the required Spiritual amplitude increases by 1.
"With my ability to control sixteen bone spikes for attack simultaneously, I should meet this Spiritual amplitude standard. However, how to activate the secret patterns is a problem?
"I still have to go find Sixth Uncle."
Thinking of this, he put the Secret Manual back into the metal box and, carrying the metal box, headed straight for Sixth Uncle Garribel's house.
