Chapter 35 - 35. Shadow of Conspiracy: The Secret Admiral and the Dark Goddess

Even though she did not wish to, the Dark Goddess Aethna decided that this time she would help the Secret Admiral defeat General Samual. For if the Secret Admiral were to be killed at General Samual's hands, not only would the Mystic Stone slip from her grasp, but her dream of ruling Earth would remain nothing more than a dream forever.

With this in mind, she issued orders to her two commanders, Serapine and Mandaring, and said, "Listen carefully. At this moment, we need the Secret Admiral. If she dies at the hands of General Samual, we will lose the Mystic Stone, and my dream of ruling Earth will be shattered forever. That is why, as quickly as possible, you must go to the mothership and assist the Secret Admiral. But remember—General Samual must not find out that I sent the two of you to help her."

Hearing Aethna's words, both commanders nodded in agreement. Then they asked, "Lord Aethna, but what if the Secret Admiral herself is overpowering General Samual? Because if she is being held hostage by him, we can help her, free her, and earn her trust. But if it turns out that she has taken General Samual hostage instead, then should we fight the Secret Admiral and free General Samual?"

But hearing the words of both commanders, Aethna was overcome with anger. Irritated, she snapped, "Have the two of you lost your minds? Didn't I make it clear that no matter what the situation is, this time you must stand with the Secret Admiral. If you go there and discover that the Secret Admiral has taken General Samual hostage—which is impossible, because he is extremely powerful—but even if that does happen, then without drawing anyone's attention, steal the Mystic Stone and bring it to me. Now leave." Aethna said angrily.

The moment they received the Dark Goddess Aethna's command, both commanders departed into the depths of space in search of the mothership, Shadow Hunter.

"Lord Aethna, you have taken an absolutely correct decision. Now no one will be able to stop that machine from being built," Dr. Zathura said, buttering up Lord Aethna.

"Doctor, I have called you here to work, not to flatter me. Remember this—if you fail to build that machine even after obtaining the Mystic Stone, do not forget that the punishment given by the Dark Goddess Aethna is extremely cruel." Saying this, Aethna rose from her throne and left the place.

Tracing the energy of the Secret Admiral, Serapine and Mandarin arrived at the location where General Samual's mothership, the Shadow Hunter, was currently stationed, being repaired by the technical team. But neither Serapine nor Mandarin cared about that; following Lord Aethna's orders, the enemy ship was right before them. So, in the vast depths of space, Mandarin and Serapine launched an assault on the Shadow Hunter from a small stealth ship.

The sudden attack threw the ship into chaos. Soldiers scrambled in panic, trying desperately to save their lives. Meanwhile, the Secret Admiral, imprisoned inside a cage, watched as the alarm blared and soldiers ran in every direction with their weapons. She realized that someone must have attacked General Samual's ship—but she could not understand who else besides her could hold enmity against him.

Lost in thought, she suddenly noticed the walls of the ship beginning to melt. Mandarin had touched the metal, bending it like clay. Serapine released his poisonous gas, jamming the circuits of the robots and rendering them useless.

The Secret Admiral recoiled at the sight of Serapine before her. She had never seen him before, yet his presence—his very aura—spoke volumes. From the way he carried himself, it was clear he was not allied with any angelic army. Even from a distance, the dark power radiating from him was unmistakable.

"Who are you?" the Secret Admiral shouted.

"Consider me a friend, Admiral, here to help you. But for now, I am your freedom," Serapine replied with a venomous smile, shattering the cage known as the 'Neutralizer.'

The moment the cage broke, the Secret Admiral stepped out. "Wait! I cannot leave alone. I have to free my friend as well," she said, moving toward the cage holding the Truth Fairy.

She could not fathom who Serapine was, or why he was helping her. Yet, surveying the chaos around her, she decided that first, she must escape the mothership. Only once they were out would she question Serapine about his identity. Alone, escaping the ship's confinement was impossible—for both the Secret Admiral and the Truth Fairy.

Without wasting a single moment, Victoria lifted the Truth Fairy. "Truth! Stay with me!" she whispered, channeling her playful, yet potent energy into her. Slowly, Truth's eyes fluttered open.

But escaping the mothership was far from easy. General Samual himself had arrived, having realized that the attack was meant to free the Secret Admiral from his grasp. Behind him, Serapine's ally, Mandarin, confronted him, launching an assault to hold him back. Yet Mandarin's attacks only fueled General Samual's rage, and in the very next moment, he struck back with his dark energy.

Mandarin transformed himself into a massive diamond, attempting to withstand the assault, but Samuel's "Anti-Glaric" strike was so devastating that even Mandarin could not endure it.

"Serapine… take the Admiral and get out of here—now!" Mandarin's final words echoed before he was obliterated in a tremendous explosion. In that instant, the Secret Admiral glimpsed the full magnitude of General Samual's power.

Serapine quickly turned toward her surroundings, signaling the Secret Admiral. She understood immediately. Secret Admiral, Truth, and Serapine all leapt into an escape pod, rocketing away into the vast depths of space.

Samuel stood behind them, roaring with rage, "You cannot escape, Admiral! The end of Earth has already begun!"

Although they had managed to escape the mothership and were heading back toward Earth, the planet's gravitational pull dragged their pod downward at terrifying speed. They were unable to control its velocity. The moment the pod entered Earth's atmosphere, it crashed into a desolate desert and exploded. However, all three of them had leapt out just before the blast, saving their lives.

The very next moment, the Secret Admiral regained her composure. Shifting instantly into attack mode, she glared angrily at Serapine and demanded, "Who are you, and why did you save us?"

Serapine swept her hair back and replied in a cold voice, "I just saved your life, and instead of thanking me, you want to fight me. Well, I saved you because Aethna does not want Samuel to turn Earth to ashes. Lord Aethna did not want General Samual to destroy Earth's only warrior. She may want to rule Earth, but she does not want its people to be wiped out by an alien race. Believe it or not, at this moment, Admiral, you and we share the same enemy."

By now, the Truth Fairy had fully regained consciousness and was listening intently to everything. She leaned close to the Secret Admiral and whispered, "Victoria… these people are deceitful. Do not trust them."

"I know, Truth," the Secret Admiral replied gravely. "But Samuel's mining machines have already set out to descend into the oceans. We need every bit of help we can get to stop them. If Aethna's commanders are willing to assist, so be it—but we must remain vigilant."

Meanwhile, in a police station in New York, Victoria's parents, Allen and Olivia, sat worried and restless. The Black Ninja had saved them once, but now their daughter Victoria was missing. She had gone on a college trip to Mexico and had yet to return, while the other students had come back safely. They feared that their daughter might be in trouble, completely unaware that she was the superhero known to the world as the Secret Admiral.

"Look, our daughter went on a college trip to Mexico, but she hasn't returned yet, while all the other students are back. Please—do everything you can to find her. Here are her photo and details," Olivia said, tears streaming down her face as she handed Victoria's information to the police.

The officer glanced at them briefly before replying, "Mr. and Mrs. Stark, it's not just your daughter. Another student from Victoria's college, Roger, is also missing. All the other students have returned, but there is no trace of these two."

Meanwhile, Victoria was fighting a double battle. On one hand, she had to protect Earth from Samuel's army and his mining machines. On the other, she had to keep herself safe from the sinister intentions of Serapine and Aethna.
