"Hi, Aunt Belinda!"
"Hello, sweetheart!"
Belinda replied absentmindedly, waiting for Lydia's response.
"The person who came to the date wasn't the guy you mentioned."
Talking about the blind date made Lydia fume with anger.
"Then who was it?"
Belinda was puzzled.
Lydia glanced at her daughter and then at Belinda, signaling her to move to the kitchen to avoid being overheard.
Once in the kitchen, Lydia started preparing dinner while recounting the events of the previous day's blind date to Belinda.
"You mean the person who showed up was Kellan?"
Belinda's face was full of surprise.
"Yeah, and he even humiliated me."
Lydia still felt a pang in her heart whenever she thought of Kellan's insults.
She had genuinely cared for that man, but what she got in return was unfair treatment.
"Humiliated? That's just plain bullying! No way, I'm calling to get to the bottom of this."
"Forget it..."
