I snuck away from the two once my ex was gone. I made my way to the Huntr/x tower. I need to talk to Rumi about all this and how to go about it. I know she doesn't want Jeremy around me, so I should talk to her and try to figure out what to do. I got inside with the key Rumi had made for me. When I stepped in, I heard Rumi working on something in the living room with her guitar. I knocked when I came in, and Rumi looked over her shoulder.
"Akuma? What's going on?" Rumi asked as I made my way over and sat on the couch, avoiding her work pieces.
"Jeremy is back." I sigh, sitting on the couch. Rumi's expression turned fierce.
"Jeremy? As in fifteen times, Jeremy?" She asked, setting aside her guitar.
"That's the one," I answered her. She looked ready to bet someone. "Came by to talk about it."
"How about we go to your studio and use that punching bag set?" Rumi said, her right eye's vein twitched.
"Agreed." I got up with her, and we got walking. I told her everything while we walked, and she was fuming by the time we reached my place, a simple apartment with security and a gym in the basement. I handed her some gym clothes, and I went to a side room to change, no shirt, just shorts and sneakers. I came out and picked up my boxing gloves. Rumi came out in a sports bra and shorts with sneakers. She got a set of boxing gloves, and we got to the set of two punching bags. I got to punch one, and Rumi got to punch the other, and I continued to tell her about what was going on.
"Then the Saja boys, Abby, and baby basically stood in his way of me; I can't tell if they did it to help or to mess with me." I landed a harsh blow to my punching bag, ripping the seam. "So, that was my shitty day with Jeremy."
Rumi struck her punching bag hard, her patterns flashed, and she broke a pole into the punching bag. She panicked and pulled away her fist.
"Don't be too upset, happened the first few times when I started using a punching bag, sis," I told her, taking down the punching bags to patch them up later. Rumi looked surprised, but didn't say much else. Then we heard people overhead. "Sounds like my friends are back."
