Chapter 11 - Shattering The Honmoon

The two of Saja were following me when they had the chance. Then came the day to perform. I arrived on time to see Rumi and the girls perform. I warned her ahead of time to keep her in the loop on demons possibly doing something. She said that Jinu corn brain was around her. I am going to kill him if he hurts her. Rumi and her group performed Golden. I watched her from overhead in the rafters. I stayed up there and watched the entire performance. I advertised for Rumi to my fans. They all came. Once she was done, the golden honmoon wass about to be sealed when the lights went out. I teleported over her when I saw demons go behind Rumi. I dropped down before the music for Takedown started, and used my gauntlets to exterminate the demons, then made them vanish when I landed with a thud.

"You ready?" I asked Rumi as she took off her jacket and tossed it, showing her patterns. I put on my er piece and held out my hand, taking on demon features.

"No, but let's do it anyway," Rumi said, taking my hand. our markings glowed, one eye on the opposite side glowed, and our demon features showed. The music started with our song, more in my style since Rumi wanted to try and had fun doing it.

"Is there anybody out there? Is there anyone that's left? Is there any way I can make it out alive?" I began to sing. The crowd was surprised to hear me, but I kept going, my moves in sync with Rumi's. "What is left that they've not taken? What is left beyond the pain? What is left of truth when I only hear their lies?"

"There's a fire in my heart to keep the dark at bay, but my defenses have decayed." WE kept going, and then came the more intense movements that Rumi and I had practiced like hell. "So I pray for a change to begin inside, for the courage to not run and hide. Is it shame, is it fеar that controls my mind? When I wake, I can't tell what is right from thе wrong, but no matter what happens, I must carry on In the darkness before the dawn In the darkness before the dawn."

"I can feel my body shaking, I can feel all of the fear, I can feel the demons, but I can't let them win, And my broken heart is weary, And my broken words confess, And my broken spirit will conquer every sin." Rumi began, taking a breath as the light showed our markings as they flickered over us, and went dark as we sang. "There's a fire in my heart to keep the dark at bay, but my defenses have decayed. So I pray for a change to begin inside, for the courage to not run and hide. Is it shame, is it fear that controls my mind? When I wake, I can't tell what is right from wrong, but no matter what happens, I must carry on in the darkness before the dawn."

"So I take on the change that begins inside, for the courage to not run and hide. No more shame, no more fear to control my mind." Rumi and I sang together, our movements in sync, the Honmoon shattered, and my marks covered the area, creating this chain over the ground. "When I wake, I can't tell what is right from wrong, but no matter what happens, I must carry on in the darkness before the dawn."

"Awake the dark, awake the dark." Rumi sang, as we performed.

"In the darkness before the dawn." I sang as the crowd went crazy.

"Awake the dark." Rumi moved with me.

"In the darkness before the dawn." I finished, the lights came on, and the crowd was going insane. I looked to my sister, teary-eyed and happy to see people excited to see us with patterns. We headed backstage, and the girls came running over and hugged her happily. I smiled watching this. My scar was throbbing, but it was worth it.
