Reizen walks home from school.
It is raining.
He holds his bag close and looks tired.
Reizen thinks:
"Every day is the same… nothing ever changes."
On a small bridge, Reizen sees a strange light under the water.
He stops and looks closer.
Inside the water, he sees a black metal cube glowing softly.
Reizen whispers:
"What is that…?"
He reaches into the water and picks up the cube.
The cube is cold at first…
Then suddenly it becomes warm.
Symbols appear on the surface.
A soft voice speaks from the cube:
"Hello, Reizen ."
Reizen jumps back.
"Who said that?!"The cube floats slowly into the air.
Voice:
"I am the Cipher Cube.
I can change a person's life.
Just rewrite their data."
Reizen doesn't understand.
"Rewrite? Data? What does that mean?"
The cube shows a glowing screen with a simple sentence:
"Test: Reizen forgot his homework."
Reizen touches the screen.
The sentence disappears.
Suddenly he remembers:
His teacher DIDN'T ask for homework today.
School feels slightly different.
Reizen whispers:
"…The world changed."
A shadowy figure appears behind the cube.
It has purple eyes.
Nyx:
"I am Nyx. I watch over the cube.
You can change anything…
if you write it correctly."
Reizen feels both scared and excited.
Reizen looks at his hands.
They are shaking.
He thinks:
"This power… could change my life.
Maybe I can fix this broken world."
Nyx smiles:
"Then let's begin."
