Thousand Year Blood War.
The most bloody war in Soul Society's history spanning over a thousand years. A war where entire universes are at stake, where loss means the destruction of all creation.
Kurosaki Kazui had never experienced it, nor does he want to. But history class talked about that war that happened a little over a decade ago.
His father, Kurosaki Ichigo, participated in that war, and was even hailed as the hero.
Together with the rest of the Shinigamis and Arrancars and some Quincies, they successfully won the war and defeated the Quincy King.
Unfortunately, the war was so devastating that the Soul Society was completely swept away by a Space-Time storm and was swallowed by the Garganta.
They drifted into an endless void and found themselves in a completely new universe.
Here, the Soul Society swore to not interfere with the Universe's local inhabitants, and simply research for methods to return to their original universe.
Kazui was born in this new universe, and throughout his life, he had remained in Soul Society.
He was satisfied with his life. Why won't he? He was born noble, he was the son of a hero, he has multiple moms, he has cool aunts and cool uncles, he has cool grandpa too!
Unfortunately, he has grown bored. He wanted to see what the world beyond the Soul Society is like!
Don't get him wrong, Soul Society is great, with his father, who was the current Patriarch of the noble Shiba Clan and current Captain Commander of Gotei 13, managing it.
The once poverty-stricken world all improved. Modern skyscrapers rose, modern trains and planes were built, schools, hospitals.... Soul Society became a true Haven for souls where they can enjoy modern convenience and life without worrying about work or money.
Kazui had already visited all districts in Soul Society and even ventured into the Endless Wilderness, a vast land beyond the districts that stretches to infinity.
And he has grown bored of it all.
He had read about the World of the Living, known as Douluo Continent, from the books in the library, and he has long wanted to explore it!
Unfortunately, his father has forbade him from going. They must not interfere with the inhabitants, he said.
Kazui didn't bother arguing that Shinigamis were dispatched to Douluo Continent because Hollows started appearing there at the same time Soul Society appeared.
And that his father had some connections with the top powers of the continent, and Kazui even played with some children his age, who were all from the local powers of the continent.
But he obediently followed his father's words, but deep down, he hasn't given up exploring.
Once he got the opportunity, he will sneak out of Soul Society.
And that opportunity was now.
All his moms are away doing their own thing, and his father won't be coming back for a while since it is time for an annual meeting between the Gotei 13 and the Central 46, a group of politicians from noble households.
The meeting usually lasted for three days.
With that, he wrote a letter telling his parents not to worry about him and he will return soon once he gets bored and leaves it in his room.
Then, he put on the cloak invented by his uncle Kisuke that can hide reiatsu and went to a secluded space to open a Senkaimon, a gate to travel between worlds.
Once he made sure no one was following him, he sprinted towards the gate as it closes immediately.
Unknown to him, a figure landed on the spot where the gate disappeared.
A beautiful young woman with long black hair, wearing a white military hat, and white buttoned collared shirt and short skirt, along with a cape.
From her uniform, one would immediately know that she was a Quincy.
After the war, the nobles all voiced out that they wanted to execute all the captured Quincies to make sure no Thousand Year Blood War will ever happen again.
But Ichigo, with his newfound power and authority, overruled their decision. Instead, he had them work for the Gotei 13 as soldiers and police to maintain peace and order.
"He left," said the woman, tapping the wireless earphone on her left ear.

Bambieta Basterbine. She was defeated by Captain Kumamura and was later turned into Zombie by one of her friends.
Thanks(?) to Captain Kurotsuchi Mayuri, she returned to being normal.
She has worked for the Gotei 13 ever since, or rather, she and the remaining Quincies work directly under Ichigo.
After cutting off the call, Bambieta opened her own Senkaimon and entered it, planning to silently follow Kazui to ensure his protection.

Kazui stared in wonder at the sight that lay before him.
Towering mystical trees, glowing grass, lightning birds, sparkling butterflies, all sorts of plants and animals he hasn't seen before!
"This is going to be so much fun!" A bright smile appeared on his face.
He sat down, rubbing the bracelet on his wrist. It is a storage tool developed by his uncle Mayuri. It has a separate space inside it used to store items.
Apparently, it is a failed product. Mayuri was originally trying to recreate the Caja Negacion developed by Aizen, that is used to seal a living being in a separate dimension.
However, this failed product was discovered by Ichigo from Mayuri's lab and he popularized it.
"Okay, local currency...check. Clothes, check. Camping kit, check. Notes of things to do, check. Combat Pass in case of emergency, check. Well, it seems I'm ready."
He put everything back to the storage tool and stood up, this time he rubbed a pendant he was wearing.
This pendant was developed by his uncle Kisuke which suppresses Soul Power to desired level and create a fake 'Soul Ring'.
This was used by the interns of Gotei 13 who just graduated from the Academy, to make sure their reiatsu doesn't affect the world of the living and attract more Hollows.
The Soul Ring function was added in case a member has to fit in for a mission.
Kazui took out a guidebook and began to read it.
"...hmm, according to this, average Shino Academy students have power comparable to this world's level 81 Soul Douluo to level 99 Limit Douluo."
According to what he read, due to the war, the Gotei 13 underwent massive reformation.
To graduate from the Shin'o Academy, one must at least attain shikai and learn kido up to level 30's.
An unseated officer must already master their shikai and master kido up to 60's.
A seated officer must be able to materialize their Zanpakuto and on the verge of mastering Bankai, and also learn kido up to 80's.
Lieutenant must at least learn Bankai and learn at least one kido at level 90's.
And a captain must've mastered their Bankai and learn all Kidos at level 90's.
This massive jump in requirements made this generation of Gotei 13 the strongest in history.
He flips the pages, "...Ah, here it is. For kids aged 11-12, being a level 11 to 19 Soul Master is considered average, and level 21 to 29 Soul Grandmaster is considered genius."
Nodding to himself, he closed the guidebook, and immediately sealed off his Reiatsu to level 29, and two yellow rings appeared around him.
Kazui, despite being a kid, possessed so much Reiatsu far above that of a Captain.
Although, the majority of it is sealed already because his body would literally tear itself apart.
But even so, an average Seated Officer still doesn't have as much Reiatsu as him.
"Well then, time to enjoy this world!"
