Chapter 19 - trials of hekari and the splintering beast

Omni Verse Chapter 19

The Warriors had mastered control over the techniques within their bodies, and now they were traveling from the Star Universe to a distant planet. The spaceship silently glided through the sparkling stardust, and each of them felt a mix of excitement and anxiety about learning Hekari.

Pugo gazed out the window, murmuring quietly to himself: "If we succeed, no force can stop us. But if we fail… the consequences could be severe."

Mariana turned to Lino with a smile. "You look excited. Today is an important day. Are you ready to learn Hekari?"

Lino nodded slowly. "Yes… but it won't be easy. This technique cannot be learned through strength alone. Intelligence, focus, and awareness are all essential."

Luvo bounced slightly on his feet. "I think we can do it. We just need to concentrate and trust each other. Teamwork is everything."

Stardust's eyes widened as he gazed out the window. "Look at the stardust and this planet's atmosphere… It's mesmerizing! It feels like it's waiting for us to arrive."

When they landed, the planet's surface resembled a festival. Colorful flags waved in the wind, streets were lit with glowing lanterns, and the people played instruments, dancing joyfully. Exotic aromas drifted through the air—spiced fruits, roasted meats, and sweet pastries—filling the Warriors with a sense of warmth and welcome. Birds with shimmering feathers flew above, chirping melodies that blended with the music of the festival.

Pugo whispered in awe, "Wow… it's like stepping into a fairy tale. I didn't expect such a detailed welcome."

Mariana gasped, "It really seems like this planet was expecting us. Every movement seems perfectly coordinated."

Luka, ever serious, said, "Yes, but remember, once the celebrations end, we must start learning Hekari immediately. We cannot afford to waste time."

The locals cheered as they approached, their voices ringing out in song and applause. Each Warrior felt a rush of energy, closing their eyes for a brief moment to center themselves.

Pugo took a deep breath. "Alright, Warriors. Today, we'll do everything we can to learn Hekari. Are you ready?"

The team shouted in unison: "Yes!"

During the celebrations, the Warriors danced with the locals, tasted traditional foods, and accepted the offerings presented to them. They focused inward, meditating in a way, preparing their minds and bodies for the challenge ahead.

Mariana leaned toward Pugo. "It feels like this planet was waiting for our arrival. Every detail is so carefully planned, it's incredible."

Luka's voice remained serious. "And remember, this is just the beginning. Hekari is extremely difficult, and one mistake could be costly."

As the evening came, the festivities ended. The Warriors, exhausted but satisfied, returned to their hotel. Each went to their room, preparing to rest. Pugo thought quietly, "Tomorrow will change everything. I have to be ready. If I fail to master this technique, there's no going back."

The next morning, sunlight streamed into their rooms. The Warriors ate quickly and headed to the training area. The air was crisp, the wind gentle, and every member inhaled deeply, gathering their energy.

Pugo addressed them firmly: "Warriors, now is the time to learn Hekari, as Mr. Joro instructed. Understood?"

The team stared in surprise. For a moment, it seemed as though Pugo had become the de facto leader.

Mariana whispered, "He's acting like the team captain now."

Luka added, "And it won't be as easy as you think, Pugo. This technique is complex. Every step must be precise, or we risk injury."

Pugo furrowed his brow. "If the warriors in the West could learn it easily, why can't we?"

Luka smiled slightly. "Because the Western warriors are powerful. They have legendary fighters among them. Their techniques are experienced, refined, and backed by countless users."

Stardust stood tall with pride. "I believe we are the best among the Eastern universes. We will show our strength on this planet and prove who we are."

Mariana nodded. "And in the Southern universe, we are also among the best. Lino, Luvo, and I…"

Luvo and Lino together: "Yes!"

Solom asked curiously, "Do you know about the people in the East? Their techniques?"

Leonardos replied with expertise, "Yes. Their methods differ from ours. They are less strategic and more destructive. Akiro, a volcano technique user, manipulates lava destructively and reshapes it. Patoros, the poison technique user, uses specially trained toxins. Lazoro, a frost technique user, freezes everything. Suparos controls opponents with hypnosis."

Luka's voice trembled with excitement. "And the strongest of all… Lamboy. Even Walker struggled against him. If we could surpass him, Hekari would be easier to learn."

Pugo gasped, "Lamboy? The legendary warrior who fought my grandfather?"

Luka nodded solemnly. "Yes. They became friends afterward. Lamboy uses Dream techniques and is immensely powerful. Even Walker found him difficult. He is Level 5 but suffering from a mysterious self-healing illness. If it worsens, he could die."

Hearing this, the Warriors became more determined. "We can learn it too!" they said among themselves. They began practicing Hekari.

The early training was grueling. Energy waves surged uncontrollably, and each Warrior struggled to maintain balance. Sweat dripped from their foreheads, muscles burned, but no one gave up. Lino stumbled, nearly falling, and Luvo caught him with a quick hand. "Stay focused!" he shouted.

Suddenly, a massive roar shook the ground. Ludos had unleashed a colossal monster. Its eyes glowed red, and jagged claws scraped the earth as it charged toward them.

Solom attacked first, slicing the creature into pieces—but it kept splitting with every blow, growing more numerous. The Warriors exchanged glances, realizing brute force alone would not work.

Energy pulses shot from their hands, swords clashed, and elemental techniques collided in the air. Flames, wind, and frost intertwined, creating a dazzling yet chaotic battlefield.

Pugo's eyes narrowed, and he shouted, "Team! Follow my lead!" Solom hurled his energy spheres, Luvo and Lino fragmented the monsters further, Mariana calculated trajectories, Luka and Pegas trapped them, and Jamie turned some into flies, encapsulating them in sticky energy. Pugo froze the final fragments with his time-stop.

Leonardos and Stardust combined powers, forming the "Fiery Twin Star Hurricane." Twin stars spun and collided with the fragmented monsters. The originals and copies converged, obliterating the threat completely.

Exhausted, the Warriors realized time for Hekari practice was almost gone. But none would give up. They rested, knowing the next challenge awaited: mastering Hekari, and eventually, finding the Star Stone.

"Can we overcome Ludos' monsters?" they wondered. "And will we meet the Western warriors soon?"

Chapter 19 ended with that lingering question, the anticipation of new battles hanging heavy in the air, as the setting sun reflected off the metallic cliffs surrounding the festival city. The air was thick with energy, the smell of smoke and burning incense drifting over the battlefield. Pugo's eyes glimmered with determination, while Mariana and Luvo exchanged a brief nod, silently reaffirming their bond as teammates ready to face the next challenge.
