Chapter 18 - New power hekari

OMNI VERSE – EPISODE 18

The Warriors still had not finished their mission in the Star Universe. As soon as they were discharged from the hospital, their next goal was clear:

they needed to contact Joro and make him come to the Star Universe.

Joro received the message and immediately set out with his spaceship, accompanied by Jogu. Soon, they arrived where the Warriors were waiting. Joro looked at them and asked calmly why he had been called.

Joro:

"Why did you call me? Who's going to explain?"

Pugo:

"Mr. Joro… we want to take Training Level 3."

Joro and Jogu were shocked. They both knew how dangerous the third training was.

Jogu:

"Pugo, the third training is extremely difficult and dangerous."

Stardust:

"Why is that?"

Luka:

"It's because using your technique with your bare hands is much harder than using it with a sword. This time, if the power isn't controlled properly, your body could explode."

Stardust froze in fear.

Stardust:

"What?! Is that the third training?!"

Joro:

"And it's even more dangerous. If you succeed, it gives you far greater power than when you use your technique with a sword."

Pugo:

"We don't care. We want to learn it."

Leonardos:

"It's also extremely important if we want to become true samurai."

Hearing their determination, Joro decided to take them to a special training area. On the way, he spoke to them.

Luvo:

"Where are we?"

Solom:

"And why did you bring us here?"

Joro:

"I'm going to explain all the power systems to you first. Then we'll continue the training accordingly."

Pugo:

"Mr. Joro… could you explain the power systems to us?"

Joro:

"Very well. Listen to me carefully."

Long ago, the Earth Universe was considered the strongest, and its powers were seen as the ultimate techniques. After that came a power known as Hekari.

The Warriors reacted in shock.

Warriors:

"Hekari?!"

Pegas:

"I've heard of it before. It sounds really cool."

Joro:

"Hekari, in short, is a power that greatly strengthens your mind, willpower, and control over techniques when it awakens. It grows stronger through levels."

Mariana:

"I don't quite understand… is it like using techniques automatically?"

Joro:

"At Level 1, yes. Even if you don't consciously activate it, your brain automatically gives commands to your body and uses one of the three powers."

Leonardos:

"Three powers?"

Stardust:

"What do you mean?"

Joro:

"Hekari has three legendary forms."

First: Attack Hekari

"It dramatically strengthens and expands techniques.

It greatly increases attack speed.

It also allows techniques to be shaped freely—but only after completing the third training and achieving full body control."

Lino:

"Oh, so that's why the third training is required."

Luvo:

"But they say it's extremely hard."

Pugo:

"What about the other two Hekari types?"

Second: Defense Hekari

Joro:

"It can convert techniques into defensive forms.

Just like Attack Hekari, it allows free shaping of techniques after body control is achieved.

It also balances offensive techniques, but its true strength lies in defense, reaching unbelievable levels."

Stardust:

"Wow… that sounds amazing."

Pegas:

"And fun too."

Leonardos:

"Yes. It would be very useful for lighter techniques."

Pugo:

"The first two are great… but is the third one even stronger?"

Joro:

"The third Hekari is far stronger than the other two combined.

Only the legendary samurai Walker has ever been able to use it."

Pugo:

"Only my grandfather…?"

Jamie:

"Then it must be insanely powerful."

Third: Pure Hekari

Joro:

"Pure Hekari is so powerful that it could potentially defeat even a skilled technique user in a single strike—because of the abilities it grants."

It allows you to use as many techniques as you want

You can shape them freely and use multiple techniques at once

And most importantly…

It allows you to combine techniques with transformations

Pugo:

"Unbelievable…"

Luvo:

"So strong…"

Lino:

"Amazing!"

Pegas:

"Incredible!"

Mariana:

"This is unbelievable."

Stardust:

"Magnificent."

Joro:

"Hekari was discovered 600 years ago. After the era of Senior, its mastery increased even further.

In the West, it's used extremely well. But here in the East, people struggle with it.

Western warriors like Akiro and Lazoro can use techniques, body control, and Hekari all together."

"Hekari has five levels, but even they can only use up to Level 3.

That's why I'll first teach you the third training, and then Hekari control."

Warriors:

"Understood."

Joro told them to put down their swords and channel their power directly into their bodies.

Mariana, Lino, and Luvo didn't attempt it since they weren't technique users.

Pegas, although he used techniques, didn't try either because his power wasn't closely linked to raw energy.

Luka and Solom struggled but managed to transfer some power into their bodies.

Leonardos failed on his first attempt and fell to his knees, breathing heavily.

Stardust couldn't draw out his power at all.

Jamie struggled greatly as well.

Pugo tried to focus his power into his body. At that moment, he remembered his grandfather's words:

"You can do it."

Fueled by determination, Pugo succeeded.

The power of time freezing gathered in his hand. He aimed it at a nearby cheetah—and the cheetah completely stopped.

Everyone stared in shock.

Joro quickly told Pugo he could also cancel the technique. Pugo did so, and the cheetah was freed.

Pugo:

"If you want to use a technique, imagine that you've just achieved your greatest dream. Channel your power like that."

At first, Pugo's advice didn't work.

Then Luka succeeded first. Green, lightning-like poison energy shot from his hand.

It almost hit Stardust—who dodged at the last second with a funny, terrified expression.

The tree behind him was poisoned and melted away.

Everyone was stunned.

Next, Solom succeeded. He formed a sphere of wind and threw it.

A massive gust blew everyone away, creating a hilarious moment.

Solom laughed.

Then Leonardos succeeded. Flames formed in his hand, which he released as a wave.

Trees were both knocked down and burned.

Everyone stared in disbelief again.

Next was Jamie. This time, Jamie transformed into an animal—a crow.

Everyone looked at him strangely.

Then Jamie launched razor-sharp feathers, slicing through trees.

Everyone burst out laughing in shock.

After that, Jamie transformed into a cheetah and sprinted at incredible speed.

Finally, Stardust tried. With great difficulty, he succeeded.

He transformed into a star and was launched forward.

Trees exploded and shattered under the yellow starlight.

At the end, Joro told them he was proud of every single one of them.

Everyone felt happy and accomplished.

Joro then instructed them to find the Stone of the Star Universe.

The Warriors accepted the mission.

With their new powers, they boarded their spaceship and traveled from the Star Universe to another planet—excited and full of joy.

Joro and Jogu watched them with pride.

What awaits the Warriors next?

Will they truly master Hekari?
