Omni Verse – Episode 21
The battle between Pugo, Stardust, and Rosso was still raging.
Rosso continued to summon powerful puppets.
First, he created a monster puppet, and on top of it rode a sword-wielding knight puppet. The knight launched countless aggressive slashes, but Pugo and Stardust managed to dodge them.
Rosso then enlarged the puppet, making its attacks even more massive and destructive.
Pugo activated his Magnificent Time, attacking the puppet as if he were ten people at once, slightly tearing it apart.
Stardust followed up by using Star Meteor, heavily damaging the puppet.
Rosso smirked, healed the puppet, and then summoned another one—a club-wielding thug puppet.
The situation started to heat up, and Rosso's arrogance only grew.
Rosso:
"Hahahaha! Did you see that? You can't defeat me. You can't even get close!"
Pugo thought to himself:
Pugo (inner monologue):
"We can't reach him, but we can damage his puppets. This is turning into a really tough battle… I wonder when the team will arrive."
The club puppet made things even harder. Defending against the attacks became more difficult for Pugo and Stardust, but they still held on.
Pugo clashed head-on with the club puppet, while Stardust fought the knight puppet.
As the fight dragged on, Rosso prepared to summon even more puppets.
After a long struggle, Pugo came up with a plan. He backed away from the club puppet to provoke it.
Making silly movements, he shouted:
Pugo:
"Hey, stupid stick toy! Come on, hit me! Nenenenenene!"
The club puppet became enraged and started swinging wildly.
Unknowingly, it moved closer to Stardust and the knight puppet.
Stardust noticed too late and panicked comically.
Stardust:
"AAAA! HELP MEEEEE!"
Just as the club was about to strike Stardust, Pugo shouted for him to duck.
Both Pugo and Stardust crouched down, causing the club puppet to strike the knight puppet instead.
The knight puppet was torn apart and collapsed.
Immediately after, Pugo and Stardust jumped behind the club puppet.
Pugo activated his Time Technique: Time Stop, freezing it in place.
Stardust followed with his Double Star Technique, firing twin beams of light that completely destroyed the club puppet.
Pugo and Stardust escaped once again and turned back toward Rosso, ready to challenge him—
—but at that moment, two figures arrived.
Jamie and Pegas joined the battlefield.
Pugo and Stardust were overjoyed.
Rosso:
"Hm? More people joining the fight?"
Pugo:
"I told you—there are no rules."
Jamie:
"Hey Pugo, isn't that the Star Stone?"
Pugo:
"Yeah. If we don't defeat this monster, we can't get it."
Pegas:
"There are four of us now. We can beat him."
Stardust:
"Be careful. His puppets are extremely powerful, and he can control them freely."
Jamie:
"I hope the others arrive soon."
Pugo:
"Until then, we just have to stall him."
Rosso:
"You'll never succeed. I'll defeat you no matter what—and now I'll introduce you to even stronger monsters!"
Rosso began summoning giant puppets—a gun-wielding puppet and a giant axe puppet.
The battle became serious.
Elsewhere…
Luka and Solom encountered Mariana and Leonardos.
Luka:
"Oh, Leonardos, Lady Mariana. Any progress?"
Mariana:
"No, still no sign of the stone."
Leonardos:
"What about you?"
Solom:
"Nothing on our side either. Where are the others?"
Luka:
"Yeah… where are they?"
Mariana:
"They must be searching for the stone."
Leonardos:
"But at least we should regroup."
Just then, a massive explosion shook the area.
The four of them noticed it immediately.
Nearby, Luvo and Lino also sensed the blast while talking.
The six of them rushed toward the source.
The explosion had been caused by the axe puppet.
Pegas and Stardust were injured.
Meanwhile, the gun puppet opened fire, forcing Pugo and Jamie to dodge.
Jamie transformed into a horse, picked up Pugo, and they escaped in a ridiculous manner—screaming while running.
The axe puppet prepared to strike Stardust.
Stardust panicked dramatically.
Stardust:
"AAAA! SAVE MEEEE!"
Just as the axe was about to fall, a handsome warrior appeared and severed the puppet's arms with his sword.
He unleashed wave-like slashes, shattering the puppet completely.
It was revealed that the newcomer was Sumo, the Water Warrior from the Water Universe.
He had black hair, blue eyes, slightly long hair, blue protective armor, and a black cloak.
Everyone was shocked.
Sumo then formed a water sphere with his hand and detonated the gun puppet with a powerful water technique.
Pugo thought to himself:
Pugo (inner monologue):
"Wow… this guy is amazing. Definitely from the Water Universe—fast, powerful, and his techniques are suffocating."
Stardust hugged Sumo dramatically.
Stardust:
"Wow! You're quiet, handsome, and strong? You saved my life!"
Sumo (shyly):
"Ah… it was nothing. No need to thank me."
Pugo:
"Nice to meet you. We're the Warriors team. Who are you?"
Sumo:
"My name is Sumo. I come from the Water Universe."
Pugo:
"Oh, really? Nice to meet you."
Sumo:
"Nice to meet you too."
Rosso smiled faintly.
Rosso:
"So they keep arriving one by one… and these are strong ones.
Very well—then I'll create something worthy of them."
Rosso began forming a massive whip-wielding puppet—then suddenly created twenty of them.
Pugo:
"Be careful, Sumo! They could kill you!"
Sumo drew his sword.
The whip puppets launched fierce attacks, but Sumo dodged effortlessly, slicing one puppet after another.
The remaining puppets rushed him.
While everyone else panicked, Sumo remained calm.
Sumo:
"Water Technique: Tsunami Explosions!"
Massive tsunami waves surged forward, crashing into the puppets.
They were obliterated by the overwhelming force.
Everyone was stunned.
Rosso felt a moment of fear—
—but suddenly, Sumo vanished.
Pugo:
"Huh?! Where did Sumo go?!"
Sumo had left through the forest, as Master Joro had ordered him to test the Warriors' growth.
Rosso, now furious, saw the remaining six warriors arrive.
Pugo, Pegas, Jamie, and Stardust were relieved.
Leonardos:
"Sorry we're late."
Pugo:
"Yes! You're here!"
Joy spread among the team.
But Rosso snarled and summoned an even stronger puppet—a green, poisonous puppet wielding an acid weapon.
The Warriors were shocked.
Rosso smiled.
Pugo stared intensely—and suddenly, the spirit of his grandfather, Walker, appeared before him.
Pugo:
"Grandpa… is that really you?"
Walker:
"Pugo, prepare yourself.
It's time I teach you the secret of the Energy Technique."
Pugo stood frozen in shock.
Will the Warriors defeat Rosso and his puppets?
Will Walker truly teach Pugo the Energy Technique Will he be able to uncover the secret ?
Pugo:
"What do you mean, Grandpa?"
Walker:
"You understood exactly what I meant.
There is a secret behind the Energy Technique, and I am the one who will teach it to you."
Pugo:
"What do you mean?
Isn't the Energy Technique learned the same way as the other elemental techniques?"
Walker:
"Centuries ago, when this technique was used incorrectly,
a massive explosion occurred in the Time Universe.
It was uncontrollable—and because its first secret is anger."
Walker pauses.
Walker:
"But anger alone wasn't the only reason.
There are other factors as well.
It is an extremely difficult technique… yet it still has its own secret."
Pugo:
"Then tell me!
I need it right now to defeat this monster!"
Walker:
"I can't tell you yet.
If you use it without knowing everything, the consequences could be severe—
extreme exhaustion, loss of consciousness…
it could even damage your body."
Walker:
"When the time is right,
I will tell you how and when to use it."
Walker slowly disappears.
Pugo:
"Grandpa… don't go.
So it's the Energy Technique…
What are those secrets?"
Pugo clenches his fist and looks back toward Rosso and the battlefield.
