Chapter 1 - the child of time pugo

In a realm where elemental universes coexist, warriors and samurais constantly fight to overcome the rising darkness. Their goal is not only victory, but to secure peace for future generations. Among them is a boy who has yet to discover his true potential.

His name is Pugo.

Pugo was walking through the Time Universe when he suddenly heard a familiar voice calling his name. He turned around and saw Stardust running toward him, slightly out of breath but smiling.

Stardust explained that he had just arrived and was actually heading to Pugo's house to find him. Then, with excitement in his voice, he revealed an old book he had found near the Star Shop, likely from the Star Universe. Curious, he suggested they take a look together, thinking it might contain information about their ancestors.

Pugo examined the book and realized it was about samurais. He wondered which universes were included. Stardust assumed it was mostly about the Star Universe and the Time Universe, but what truly mattered was whether it could help them.

As they flipped through the pages, they came across powerful figures such as Senior from the Earth Universe and Tamar from the Water Universe. Then suddenly, Stardust pointed at a page in excitement—it was Walker, the legendary samurai of the Time Universe… Pugo's grandfather.

Stardust admired it, saying how incredible it must be to have such a powerful ancestor and how it meant Pugo could become a samurai too.

However, Pugo didn't share that confidence. He admitted that he could never be like his grandfather. Walker had mastered time techniques, while he knew nothing. He wasn't strong, and he hadn't even fought a single monster.

Stardust responded seriously. He explained that what truly made Walker special wasn't just strength—it was self-confidence. He pointed out that Pugo's biggest weakness had always been his lack of belief in himself.

Pugo hesitated, saying that he couldn't change the truth.

Stardust calmly answered that while he might not be able to change the truth, he could change himself. He encouraged Pugo to believe in his own potential and to trust that he could one day become like his grandfather.

Those words deeply affected Pugo. He felt lighter, happier, and for the first time, hopeful. As the day came to an end, he told Stardust he would go home and think about everything that was said.

That night, Pugo fell into a dream.

In the dream, he was a samurai. Strong, confident, and fearless. Everything seemed perfect—until the world suddenly turned dark.

A mysterious Dark Samurai appeared before him and questioned his desire to become a samurai. For a brief moment, doubt crept into Pugo's mind, but then he remembered Stardust's words: Believe in yourself.

Holding onto that thought, Pugo refused to be shaken. He declared that he would not act based on fear or harsh words, but instead follow the belief his friend had given him. He firmly stated that he would protect the Time Universe.

The Dark Samurai simply responded that time would reveal the truth… and then disappeared into the darkness.

Pugo woke up immediately.

This time, something inside him had changed. He realized that Stardust was right. From now on, he would follow his own path.

The next morning, Pugo set out to find the Time Mayor, determined to begin his journey as a samurai. However, when he arrived, the mayor was nowhere to be found.

A man approached him and asked if he was looking for the mayor. The man introduced himself as Jogu and explained that the mayor, Nuhtar, was likely sick and wouldn't be coming that day. He offered Pugo a coffee while they waited.

During their conversation, Jogu asked Pugo about his dreams. Pugo admitted honestly that he wanted to become a samurai like his grandfather, but he lacked skills, techniques, and confidence.

Jogu reassured him that no samurai was born talented. They all became strong through hard work, learning, and determination. According to him, the most important things were learning, confidence, and willpower.

Then, Jogu began explaining the history of the elemental universes. Long ago, unknown experiments had created these universes, and people were born across them. Over time, they discovered their powers and fought to grow stronger. Eventually, an armistice was formed, techniques were developed, and true samurais began to emerge.

The first samurai came from the Earth Universe—Senior. Later, the Time Universe rose to power and became the leading universe in terms of strength.

But everything changed with the rise of Ludos, the leader of the Dark Universe.

Jogu explained how Ludos would disguise himself, turn people into monsters, and launch secret attacks. This marked the beginning of a dark era.

Despite that, there were heroes. Walker, Pugo's grandfather, had defeated 1.5 million monsters—an unbreakable record.

Pugo was completely shocked and inspired. Realizing the legacy he carried, he declared that he would do everything in his power to defeat Ludos. He decided that his first step would be joining the training.

Jogu encouraged him, telling him to return the next day and not overexert himself.

On his way home, Pugo passed through the Time Forest. The glowing time-flowers caught his attention, and as he reached out to pick one, he was suddenly surrounded by a group of bullies.

They questioned his presence, claiming the forest belonged to them. Pugo argued that the forest was open to everyone, but they didn't care. They threatened him, forcing him to either leave or face violence.

Pugo quickly realized he was outnumbered. He hesitated, unsure of what to do.

Just as one of them began counting down and prepared to strike, a figure suddenly leaped out from the bushes.

In an instant, the attacker was knocked back.

The newcomer introduced himself as Leonardos, the future samurai of the Flame Universe.

Pugo was immediately impressed by his presence, strength, and appearance. Leonardos quickly defeated the bullies, who fled in fear.

Grateful, Pugo thanked him and expressed how cool it was that they both wanted to become samurais.

When Pugo revealed that he was Walker's grandson, Leonardos was shocked. He acknowledged that Pugo must have great potential, even if he hadn't realized it yet.

Leonardos then offered to take him to the training grounds and help him begin his journey. Pugo excitedly accepted and asked if he could bring his friend as well. Leonardos agreed.

He then decided to give Pugo a title: "The Child of Time."

Without thinking, Pugo casually called him "Leo."

Everything suddenly went silent.

Leonardos reacted with anger, clearly offended by the nickname. Pugo panicked, realizing too late that he had crossed a line.

Leonardos threatened him, and Pugo immediately ran away. What followed was a chaotic chase through the forest, with Pugo desperately apologizing while still accidentally repeating the nickname.

However, they were not alone.

Hidden behind the trees, two figures were watching them closely—one masked, the other a heavy man.

The masked figure contacted someone inside a distant castle and reported that he was following them.

The voice on the other end ordered him not to stop. When the time came, he was to appear before them… and eliminate them.

The masked man simply replied:

"Understood."
