Michael darted the ball towards Jaylon who immediately shot the ball full force. But the shining ray of hope blocks the shot by diving and blocking it with his head. Yoichi smiled as he said "My head is rattling." And as the ball flies over to Jaylon once again he gets prepared to shoot again. But Yoichi runs at the speed of light and speed blitzes Jaylon. He kicks the ball before Jaylon can even interpret what happened. I got the loose ball and dribbled past all of the defenders and readied myself to shoot the ball, but a cold feeling ran through my bones. I quickly kicked the ball, but suddenly someone's foot held it in place. It was the boy who just subbed in and he stared at me coldly. "Hesitating. Trash." He said with an empty expression. He then cleared the ball.
I stood there in silence as I rubbed my head with intensity. My anger's burning like never before. I hate it. I hate it. Why was it so easy? This won't do. It's not enough. My throat burned as I scratched at my skin, I was craving it. Yes, that's what it is! A craving! I crave, crave for more, for everything! I looked at my hands, my unclean hands. But I wasn't disgusted, I wanted more. More dirt! I wanted to dirty myself with the crushed dreams of my opponents.
Jaylon charged forward and I tried to confront but instead of going head on, he dribbled to the left to create distance. I paused for a moment and in an instant "Idiot." Jaylon said with a smile. He passed to Michael and as they one two passed through the defense, the field turned into gold with the king's golden touch. As the ball finally went to Jaylon, his open teammate yelled for him to pass the ball. But the thought of my look of despair filled his greed to the max. He smirked as he yelled, ready to crush the dreams of my opponent. "OVER!"
The king doesn't care for his peasants. He only cares for himself. He doesn't follow the plan of others. Although he might be smart his greed clouds his judgement. If he wasn't so worried about wanting to be the one to crush me himself, he would've been able to light up his kingdom and make sure to feed the people who put him on his throne. A gamble that only one person could anticipate. A shining ray of hope that made sure that he lit up his people before even thinking of himself. "YOICHI!" Jaylon yelled as in a flash Yoichi steals the ball from Jaylon. Yoichi turned with a bright smile and a peace sign. "Smile for the camera big boy."
Yoichi kicked the ball at the speed of light to me. As the ball flew toward me, Yoichi stood there and turned towards Jaylon with a grin. "Sorry, I should've bowed first." Jaylon let out a rageful scream and immediately started running to stop me. I followed the ball. My shining ray of light who lit up my darkness and gave me the light I needed to reignite my flames and create my own light. I trapped the ball and dribbled past every defender going from one side of the pitch to the other. The Reaper kills everyone in his path as he makes his way through purgatory. I made my way to the box and readied my shot. But the crowd cheered at such a shiny play as Michael ran forward ready to stop my burning fire from destroying the field. Michael dashed at me while in my blind spot so I couldn't detect him.
But I see him, I see it all. "YES!" I feinted the ball and kicked it in the air. I looked down upon the stage director as my statement rained through the arena. "Que the death scene director." As the stage director looked in shock, The Reaper got prepared. Prepared to claw his way out of this purgatory as he rips the golden chains that held him down by the neck. I prepared a devastating shot. A curve shot that the goalkeeper couldn't predict. But only one person was there. The king who was afraid to lose everything he fought so hard to gain. Jaylon just barely blocked the shot. The ball floated past everybody and right in front of Michael. Michael gets ready to trap the ball but Yoichi dashes forward at the speed of light and traps the ball.
As the sun shined bright only one can see this divine being emerge from the sunlight. Michael looked at Yoichi with pure despair. "No." Yoichi smiled as Michael stood in his incompetence. "Thanks for such a generous script." He passes to me again and I immediately shoot without even trapping. But Jaylon soared into the heavens and did a bicycle kick in order to block the shot and create momentum for his team's counter. He fell down and smirked at Yoichi. "You think you're the only one with such an important role."
Michael sees the ball ahead and looks up ready to create a dramatic play. He smiles but from his shadow emerges a darkness. An empty darkness like never before. As if he can just fall through it and continue to fall for eternity. As Michael turns back to see where the devious darkness is coming from, he looks death in the eyes. As I dashed forward, Michael looked in confusion. "Where the hell is he going?" I know where and how I'm gonna kill my opponents. As the skeletons emerge from the darkness to pull Michael into the abyss he falls down. I looked up to finally look at the ball and put my hand on Michael's head, using the momentum to push myself up. I got ready to kick the ball. Everybody looked in awe as The Reaper got ready to kill everyone on the field with a play no one could predict. Not even The Reaper himself could predict it. That's just the nature of death. It happens when least expected but also when most expect. It's an unpredictable irrational entity with no allies, not even itself.
Jaylon looked in defeat as he said "Wow." weakly. I kicked the ball full force, while airborne the angels reached out to me from the heavens but the dead souls from hell tried to pull me back down. Ray, Sora, and the coach looked in awe at the entity that manifested through pure instinct.
"Mediocre." Suddenly he gets kicked away by a boy with white hair and golden eyes. Landing in the feet of his teammate, he dashes to his teammate and steals the ball from him and steps forward. "So mediocre." The boy said. His golden eyes went black as Yoichi desperately dashed at him but quickly got nutmegged. The boy dashed forward full speed, as every one tried to stop him he just casually moved past them. I slammed my foot on the ground and dash toward him and crashed into him. I slammed his hand into my chest blowing the wind out of it, causing all of the fire on the field to turn into ice. "Get off." He dashed forward but I stayed with him, out of breath. As we finally got to the box, I slid in order to take the ball but he suddenly slammed his foot into the ball. I fell but he suddenly grabbed me by my collar and pulled me up to look him in the eyes. "You're nothing." Suddenly he kicked the ball full force and it slammed into the back of the net.
He threw me onto the floor and walked away. I…lost…
