Chapter 37: Saiyan Reformation Plan
Previously, Turles had already conceived a plan to reform the Saiyans. He just hadn't had the chance to explain it. Now that they had a new planet, next would come searching the universe for those exiled Saiyans. Moreover, their current strength could easily suppress these Saiyans.
"Turles, if you have other ideas, just say them all!" Paragus seemed to hear something in Turles's words, directly asking him.
"Uh! My ideas? Am I that obvious?"
Having his purpose exposed by Paragus, Turles felt somewhat embarrassed, unnaturally scratching his head.
Paragus rolled his eyes at him, face full of disdain.
Turles didn't care about Paragus's attitude, directly voicing his Saiyan reformation plan.
"First, our next move is establishing relationships with major galactic powers like the Mercenary Union and Galactic Patrol. Only by leveraging these large factions' networks can we quickly locate surviving Saiyans throughout the universe."
Finishing, Turles looked at Paragus.
Hearing this, Paragus nodded, agreeing with Turles's statement.
Currently, they only had four people. Even adding Karl's group, if they wanted to find surviving Saiyans, they had to seek external help. The Mercenary Union and Galactic Patrol were excellent cooperation partners.
"But why would the Mercenary Union and Galactic Patrol kindly help us?" Raditz asked the key question.
Turles clapped his hands, continuing: "Exactly! The Mercenary Union and Galactic Patrol won't help Saiyans unconditionally out of goodwill. Moreover, Saiyans' reputation has always been poor. So we need to demonstrate our value."
"Value? What value?"
Raditz still didn't quite understand. But Paragus, after hearing Turles finish, already had some ideas. Seeing Raditz still confused, he said irritably:
"What other value—muscle value!"
"Uh? Muscle?" Raditz was even more confused.
Regarding Raditz, not just Turles—even Paragus now felt speechless. Finally, he explained:
"We Saiyans don't have those tech species' advanced technology. All we have is decent battle power. Plus, Turles researched the gravity chamber's training enhancement, and the previous transformation. These all gave us massive strength increases."
"Even at Mercenary Union and Galactic Patrol headquarters, I believe they don't have many people exceeding 100,000 battle power. So our existence is our greatest value!"
Hearing this, Raditz finally understood.
"That's right. Paragus is correct. This is also why I agreed with Belus. Moreover, I have mission selection rights, so we can decline some missions—only accepting escort-type assignments. We'll completely abandon planet invasion missions."
"But if we don't accept these missions, given Saiyans' combative nature, they probably won't agree."
Paragus pointed out the key issue.
Turles nodded, acknowledging Paragus's words, continuing: "So we need to also cooperate with the Galactic Patrol. From what I know, the Galactic Patrol once managed galactic security on behalf of the Supreme Kai. They focus on combating evil and maintaining galactic peace. We can become external Galactic Patrol members, helping them handle enemies they can't deal with."
"Like that Jaco?"
"Uh, exactly! With these missions, we not only satisfy Saiyans' combative needs but also cleanse Saiyan sin, reversing our reputation. Two birds with one stone!"
"We might even establish relationships with Kais and Supreme Kais. Seeking their guidance later would be excellent!"
"So I call this the Saiyan Reformation Plan!"
"What do you think, Paragus?"
After explaining his plan, Turles looked at Paragus, seeking his opinion.
This was just Turles's individual thinking after all. He didn't know if anything was inappropriate. So having Paragus provide some input—plus involving him prevented bad thoughts. He had no energy for arguments with Paragus.
After listening, Paragus didn't immediately respond. Instead, his face showed contemplation.
Paragus knew Turles's ambition would be great. But he hadn't expected it to reach this degree—not even placing Universal Emperor Frieza in his eyes, actually wanting to become a god. Moreover, his manner suggested he already had rough plans for godhood. This made Paragus somewhat envious and admiring.
However, if Turles truly aimed for godhood, then perhaps he genuinely didn't desire Saiyan Kingship as claimed. And once Turles truly reached Destroyer God or Supreme Kai level, that would greatly benefit Paragus too.
After thinking this through, Paragus suddenly felt he had no reason to object. Instead, he should strongly support Turles. Perhaps future Broly could also become a god. After all, Broly's talent far exceeded Turles's.
Watching Paragus remain silent, Turles thought his plan might not work in the Seventh Universe. But he'd modeled it after Sixth Universe Saiyans—no way there were problems. Though seeing Paragus's somewhat sleazy smile, Turles understood.
Turles ignored Paragus—already lost in daydreams—turning his gaze to Broly and Raditz. But seeing their expressions, Turles knew he couldn't extract useful suggestions. He had to give up.
"Raditz, your battle power has reached 5,500. Post-transformation you'll reach 55,000 battle power. Though you can't maintain it long, this is far from enough. So during the coming period, I'll supervise your training until your normal battle power exceeds 10,000. Understand?"
"Turles, I think I'm already pretty good. You said I have 55,000 battle power after transforming. I... I think I'm strong enough. Do I still need training?"
Hearing Turles would train him, Raditz's body immediately shivered. He immediately begged Turles to spare him.
"..." Turles hadn't expected Raditz to be such mud that couldn't support a wall. His heart grew somewhat angry. He said viciously: "Impossible! During the coming period, you must receive my guidance in the gravity chamber daily."
Seeing Raditz still somewhat unwilling, Turles released his trump card.
"I might visit Earth next to find Kakarot. If things go as expected, I'll train him. I think you don't want to lose to a brother several years younger, right?"
"Uh?"
Raditz never imagined Turles would be this ruthless. Finally, helplessly nodding, he agreed to Turles's demands.
Seeing Raditz agree, Turles smiled with satisfaction, thinking internally: 'I still want to see you transform Super Saiyan. How could I let you slack off!'
As for Broly, Turles momentarily couldn't figure out arrangements. Finally, he could only have him continue practicing ki control, hoping this would somewhat help his mental state.
During the following period, while training himself, Turles continuously trained Raditz. Meanwhile, Paragus began deeply invested in formulating detailed plans for receiving surviving Saiyans.
Thus, one month passed. The Mercenary Union's hyperspace ship arrived at Red Stone Planet as scheduled. Turles's departure time for the North Galaxy had come!
