Chapter 41: Sparring Match

Since they'd already picked up Deru, Turles needed to prepare for continued departure!

However, before leaving, Turles made a request to Guru—hoping to battle them once.

After considering, Guru agreed to Turles's request.

Hearing the Saiyan wanted to fight them, all Namekians gathered to watch.

First up was Raditz. His opponent was a Namekian named Beru who possessed over 10,000 battle power.

Though Raditz's current battle power was only 8,000, under the high-intensity training from both Turles and Paragus, his true strength far exceeded that number. Moreover, he'd mastered ki sensing combat methods. So Turles wasn't worried.

From the start, neither tested the other. Both immediately displayed full strength. Not only were their attack speeds extremely swift and decisive, but their force was tremendously heavy.

Initially, Beru thought Raditz's battle power was 2,000+ lower than his own—surely he could quickly win. But unexpectedly, the moment he contacted Raditz's attacks, all contemptuous thoughts vanished.

Meanwhile, Raditz—trained by Turles and Paragus—possessed far richer combat experience than Beru. He exploited Beru's underestimation, playing possum to devour the tiger, easily grasping battle rhythm.

The two fought from ground to air. Their auras continuously climbed. Each fist and foot collision's impact created ripples through space.

Both continuously shifted positions in midair. The naked eye could barely track their movements.

Fortunately, everyone present wasn't simple.

Turles could track them through ki sensing. Meanwhile, Namekians possessed excellent dynamic vision, easily capturing both fighters' movements.

Precisely because they witnessed this battle, the present Namekians felt somewhat surprised by Raditz's performance.

"Never expected this Saiyan's battle power to be inferior to Beru's, yet he can fight evenly with him. Seems Saiyans truly live up to being a warrior race!"

"Indeed. Look at those combat techniques—even among us several, none are that excellent. Plus, he's mastered ki sensing!"

"Ki sensing? I didn't notice. Never thought someone with only 8,000 battle power could master ki sensing. That's stronger than me!"

"Right. Moreover, Guru said that Turles is even more powerful, yet we can't sense a trace of his aura. Truly terrifying!"

Amid everyone's discussion, Raditz and Beru ultimately ended in a draw.

Next came Turles and Guru.

Because both clearly understood each other's battle power was extremely high, they didn't choose ground combat. Instead, both simultaneously took flight from the start.

In midair, Turles and Guru faced each other, their auras continuously climbing.

Leaking auras created energy flames around both their bodies, gradually enveloping them.

White flames surrounded Turles's body. Blue flames surrounded Guru's.

The two colored flames' coverage area gradually expanded, ultimately colliding together.

Zzzt! Zzzt! Zzzt!

Like electrical friction, sparks and lightning appeared where both auras met.

Planet Mokka's weather was also affected by them. Dark clouds gradually gathered. The sky slowly darkened.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

Rivers and lakes began creating waves without wind. Forest animals—sensing threat—began fleeing into the distance.

Before the two had officially begun fighting, merely through aura collision, they'd massively influenced Planet Mokka's atmosphere.

Those on the ground looking up at the two confronting in midair—everyone including Raditz—were already shocked speechless by this scene.

Suddenly, both moved. As if coordinated, both simultaneously charged toward each other!

Even Namekian dynamic vision could no longer capture their movements. Only two differently colored aura trails remained visible in the air.

BOOM!!!

No sound—only shockwaves. From the collision point as center, a visible ring-shaped air blast instantly expanded!

The air wave struck. The earth tore apart. Shattered stone blocks shot toward everyone. Unable to help it, everyone had to take flight.

Then, the watching crowd saw both figures clearly. Turles and Guru maintained attacking postures, both fists colliding together.

"Can mortals truly reach this realm?" A Namekian couldn't help muttering quietly.

Hearing this Namekian's voice, nobody spoke. But internally, everyone flashed with this same question.

"Seems I still underestimated you, Turles!"

Guru smiled at Turles, praising him.

"Hehe! You're not bad either, Guru! There aren't many Namekians with your battle power!"

Regarding Guru's admiration, Turles wasn't polite, grinning back.

"You noticed?" Guru was first stunned, then immediately realized: "Right—your ki sensing ability is so perfect. Not impossible you'd notice!"

"So, continue?" Guru began actively challenging.

"Of course!" Rarely encountering an equally matched opponent, Turles naturally wouldn't be polite. He immediately agreed.

Words finished, both simultaneously withdrew fists, then immediately attacked again. Whether fists or legs, in their hands everything became weapons to assault each other.

Attack, block! Attack again, block again!

The equally matched pair began clashing in midair. Each collision created ring-shaped shockwaves, forcing the watching group to continuously retreat.

Having retreated very far, everyone watching the continuously vanishing and reappearing figures in the sky was speechless.

Though Namekians generally possessed high battle power, they'd been peaceful too long. Even they didn't know Guru had already reached 200,000 battle power. Not to mention Turles.

Meanwhile, Raditz was somewhat better off. After all, he'd witnessed even more terrifying scenes. When Turles had transformed into Great Ape, he'd possessed 800,000 battle power.

However, Raditz then hadn't mastered ki sensing ability. So though he knew Turles was terrifying, he hadn't personally experienced it. His impression had been vague.

But now he could clearly sense how terrifying these two combatants truly were. This made him excited, proud, and somewhat desirous.

This was Raditz's first time gaining clear recognition of tremendous strength. Turns out Saiyans could become this unimaginably powerful.

Saiyans' pursuit of power—for the first time, Raditz began desiring strength. He also wanted to become a Saiyan as powerful as Turles. No—he could become even stronger, stronger than current Turles!
