After the Class 5-2 students finished speaking, they headed towards the stairwell ahead amidst mocking laughter.
Xin Hui watched Ming Juin and the others walk to the stairwell, took a deep breath, and suppressing her anger, said, "We are a team. I hope you can control yourselves. Don't let down those who have high hopes for us, and certainly don't let those who want to see us fail feel smug!"
"Damn it! We must surpass their class ranking! I hate players who mock others in games the most; it shows such poor sportsmanship!"
Compared to Zi Qian, the mockery from Ming Juin and the other two angered me even more and also ignited my determination to actively clear the stages.
"You're right!" Zi Qian clenched his fist. "We must get to the open area behind the cafeteria faster than them and take the stage boss first."
Zi Qian and I exchanged a glance, then headed towards the stairwell at the back.
"Why are you going that way?" Xin Hui asked from behind Zi Qian and me.
"It's shorter," Zi Qian and I said in unison.
"When did you two become so... in sync?" Xin Hui asked, looking utterly bewildered.
"After seeing Ming Juin," we said as we walked.
We encountered the special NPC — the Assistant Discipline Teacher in front of the classroom.
"What are you doing outside the classroom?"
"We're going to attend marching practice," I said.
"Why are you chatting with him?" Zi Qian gave my shoulder a slight push, readying his lightsaber and positioning himself in front of me. "Quickly get your lightsaber ready, then take Xin Hui and run to the open area behind the cafeteria. I'll stay here to delay the Assistant Discipline Teacher and stop him from chasing you. I'll meet up with you there after respawning."
Hearing him say that, it seems the captain of our team is Xin Hui.
The Assistant Discipline Teacher, still wearing a smile on his face, asked: "According to School Rule 1, Article 17, what is the punishment for unreasonably missing club activities?"
"A formal warning," I took a few steps back, quickly answering while activating my lightsaber.
