Goku continued his slow advance. The golden ki aura carved a scorched trail across the broken earth. With every step, the loose rocks trembled violently.
Kaido gripped the two halves of his broken Hassaikai. His breathing was as heavy as a busted bellows. The regenerative power of his Demon Dragon Body had bottomed out.
Akainu forced his mangled body to stand tall. Magma bubbled weakly across his scarred arms as he kept a death grip on the shattered Zanka no Tachi.
Both men knew they had zero chance of winning against this golden-haired monster. Yet, the arrogance of a pirate and the dignity of a Marine refused to let them simply sit there and wait for death.
Hiding behind the rubble, Doflamingo didn't even dare to breathe. In his mind, he was relentlessly cursing these two reckless lunatics. Why are you still trying to act tough at a time like this!?
Goku finally stopped about a dozen meters away from them. His emerald eyes carefully scrutinized the three odd strangers.
"Who exactly are you people?" Goku asked. His voice was laced with profound exhaustion, but a faint trace of killing intent still leaked through. "I can feel a very heavy stench of blood on you."
Akainu ground his teeth, his tattered Justice coat flapping wildly in the hot wind. "Marine Headquarters Admiral, Sakazuki. I don't need to explain my actions to pirates or aliens."
Kaido broke into a boisterous laugh through his bloody lips. The laughter pulled at his fractured ribs, making him violently cough up bloody froth. "I'm Kaido of the Beasts! If you wanna fight, then fight! Cut the crap!"
Goku's brow furrowed deeply. His Super Saiyan instincts were screaming warnings at him; these individuals were absolutely not good people. Planet Namek was on the verge of total annihilation, and he didn't want to leave any lingering threats behind before he departed.
Raising his right hand, a blinding cluster of golden energy rapidly concentrated in Goku's palm. A violent, destructive aura locked directly onto Akainu and Kaido.
Right in the middle of this explosive standoff, a brilliant silver light flared between the two factions. The space rippled like the surface of a pond, and a young man with slightly wavy silver hair stepped casually out of the void, wearing casual clothes.
Blake let out a yawn. He idly patted non-existent dust off his shirt, completely ignoring the collapsing continent and the sky choked with volcanic ash. Even Goku's star-crushing Super Saiyan pressure couldn't make him flinch.
"Yo, looks like things got pretty intense," Blake's voice carried effortlessly over the howling winds, reaching everyone's ears.
Seeing Blake's back, Kaido's taut nerves instantly snapped. The massive Yonko collapsed backward onto the searing rocks. "Boss… you finally made it," Kaido panted heavily. He didn't even realize that there was a subtle hint of a grievance in his tone.
Akainu also let out a long, heavy breath of stale air. Though he'd never admit it out loud, he had fully prepared himself to die in battle against the golden-haired Saiyan.
Doflamingo, still huddled behind the rocks, went completely limp, his pink feather coat drenched in a cold sweat.
Goku dispersed the energy in his palm, eyeing the silver-haired newcomer with intense caution. The boy had appeared without the slightest warning. Even more terrifying, to Goku's Super Saiyan senses, the youth felt like a bottomless black hole. His body housed a colossal power that operated on completely incomprehensible rules. It wasn't just raw ki; it was a conceptual authority that stood above it.
"Who are you?" Goku asked in a deep voice.
Turning around, Blake looked at Goku, who was still wreathed in his golden aura. "Just a businessman who runs a tavern," Blake smiled.
He pointed to Kaido and Akainu on the ground. "These three guys are my employees and customers, more or less. They only came to this planet to complete a little side quest I gave them."
Blake looked down at Akainu and Kaido.
"Good job," Blake nodded.
"You got beaten black and blue, but at least you survived. You didn't embarrass me."
Kaido's face flushed red. Being used as a punching bag and beaten to such a pathetic state was an astronomical humiliation that had literally been broadcast into outer space.
Akainu let out a cold snort. "That guy called Frieza was completely beyond common sense. My magma couldn't even burn through his skin."
Ignoring the complaint, Blake shifted his gaze to the pile of rubble in the distance. "Doflamingo, stop hiding."
Doflamingo stepped out awkwardly from behind the rocks. Limping heavily, he looked like a drowned rat. "Fufufufufu… You joke, Boss. I was merely conserving my strength." Doflamingo forced a dry laugh, desperately trying to salvage some shred of his Warlord dignity.
Watching their familiar banter, Goku's hostility waned slightly, but he still kept his guard up. "Why did you guys really come to Planet Namek?"
Blake reached into his pocket and pulled out a sphere. It was the Dragon Ball Akainu had stolen from the alien village earlier. "For this," Blake said, tossing the Dragon Ball lightly in the air.
Seeing the Dragon Ball, Goku's face changed dramatically. "You're here to make a wish!?"
Blake shook his head. "I have no need to make wishes to an overgrown green worm. To me, this is just a very interesting piece of merchandise."
With a snap of Blake's fingers, the other Dragon Balls hidden in Akainu and Kaido's clothes flew out automatically, landing securely in his hands.
Goku watched Blake's movements but didn't intervene. He could sense that Blake harbored none of the malicious greed usually associated with the Dragon Balls.
Blake juggled the orbs in his hands. These were a full size larger than the ones on Earth, made of a material resembling warm jade, with red stars suspended inside.
Goku stepped forward, his golden aura flaring violently with the motion. "Give them to me," he demanded, his voice low and urgent. "Krillin is dead. He already died once on Earth, and Earth's Shenron can't bring the same person back to life twice. I have to use the Namekian Dragon Balls to bring him back."
Blake stopped tossing the orbs and looked at the bloodshot eyes of the Super Saiyan. He really was a fiercely loyal and righteous guy. But business was business.
"My employees risked their lives to snatch these," Blake said, gesturing to the paralyzed Kaido and Akainu. "I can't just hand them over for free just because your friend died."
Kaido grinned from the sidelines. He had taken a brutal beating, but hearing the Boss stand up for them felt damn good. Akainu grunted in agreement; an Admiral's life wasn't cheap, after all.
Goku clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking loudly. He knew the man had a point, but he had no other options left.
"Then what do I have to do for you to give them to me?" Goku asked, his emerald pupils shrinking as the Saiyan battle lust surged in his veins.
Blake smiled, tucking the Dragon Balls into his dimensional storage. "Simple. Fight me. If you win, you can take all of them."
