Darius Black wood was his name. He was the duke of one of the four states in the vampire kingdom and was a high ranking member of the vampire kingdom. Like his name, Darius was a vampire devil or that was what people usually called him. He lived like a tyrant and was feared more than the king. Even the king was afraid of offending him. He held indestructible power and was considered the strongest among the younger generation. His power was on par with one of the goddesses. That was the rumor that spread around and no one knew of it was true or not. Time grew by and the king became afraid of Darius. He knew fully well that he would not stand the chance if Darius was to challenge h for the throne. So he coniled with the council members and they decided to do something about him. Too valuable to destroy and too dangerous to be kept, they decided to lock him up somewhere that was unknown to everyone and that was exactly what they did. They created a basement specially for him and lured him there and locked him up. They never really explained what happened to him to the people. Although Darius was known as a tyrant, it was only when he was offended so many people dared not cross him and he was a good leader of his state.
They didn't realize that he had a brother. Cyrus, although they were step siblings they loved each other deeply and shared a bond that was unbreakable. So while they returned to heir normal lives, he was secretely plotting a way to release his brother. Secretely brainwashing every single one of the vampire council members and the people that Darius was undeserving of being put in the basement. While the king was totally unaware.
