Soon it was time for the selection of the new king as the old one or rather the current one was too old and was put to rest in the eternal slumber. This was where the plan Cyrus had been manifesting for so long started. The people who normally did not complain about the king to be selected started demanding Darius to be released and made the king.
"You don't have any idea what you all are getting yourselves into. Darius will be so furious that we locked him up that he will destroy this place " one of the member of the vampire council said. But the crowd refused to believe him. They felt like he was afraid of Darius and the power he welded.
"We understand what you are saying but Darius is the strongest out of all of us. The rules are the rules. The strongest must be made the king." The vampire elder trembled uncontrollably but he knew that the mind of the masses had already been made up.
"Fine then we will unlock him and Cyrus will talk to him since he's the closest to him but if he does not want to be the king we will not stop him do you understand?
