That was the only question running through my head when the wedding planner asked me that.

The last time we even talked about it was when he proposed ending our six-year contract and gave me the necklace I still wore every day. He never once mentioned he was preparing an actual wedding. Typical Rafael. The kind of man who would plan something grand in secret, perfect every little detail himself, and keep it hidden until the very last moment, just so he could watch the surprise unfold on my face.
I picked up the porcelain ring box with the crystal lid the manager had left on the coffee table. Opened it. A pair of white-gold rings caught the light.
Do you even know my ring size now? I bet you got it wrong, I thought, taking the smaller one with the three small diamonds set in a row.
It slid onto my finger smoothly. Perfect fit.
