It's been a tedious semester for the second year students classes been cancelled due the sudden unpredictable weather changes.
A young man was sitting on a chair in an empty classroom, he had black hair, blue eyes and while he was not ugly he wasn't too handsome either
"This weather is annoying…* Kael complained lightly as he looked through the window the sight of snow drops was soothing but he couldn't appreciate the beauty
For the past year the weather had become absurd
Deserts were flooded with all kinds of storms, unexplainable weather changes and that was not all
Even icy places lyk Antarctica began to thaw overnight only to freeze the next day as temperatures plummeted again
Scientists simply had no way of explaining this strange phenomenon, however as a consequence of this all major nations of the world practically forced the smaller nations to be careful with pollution, attributing everything to the malfunction in the planet's ozone layer
Now even of the sun shine brightly people still carried extra clothing,fearing a sudden snow storm
"As of this wasn't enough that idiot made me come to class inthis damn snow.."Kael snorted, he had come to this empty class cause his first and only friend had told him he had something important to discuss
Kael Ardyn was just a normal 20-year-old student.his adoptive father was a small civil engineer with next to no power and his adoptive mother made porcelain dolls for a living.
"Sighs I miss mum's casserole.."As Kael was thinking to himself ,the sky darkened asthe earth shook fiercely as things moved from their places.kael held on to the the table tightly to prevent himself frm falling
Kael felt strange as if all the air had been pulled from his lungs, as he struggled to breathe his face turned pale and he had the urge to vomit, barely stopping himself
After about thirty seconds, everything seemed to returned to normal. Things stopped moving, the few ornaments threatening to fall no longer did
The choking and suffocating sensation Kael felt a few seconds ago disappeared and the cold coming in through the now broken window embraced his body. However he could longer worry about the cold, the shitty weather, or the previous earthquake

Kael's body was slim but under his clothes were hidden lean but compact muscles due to his constant work as well as training.
Considering that the numbers in brackets shown in his status window was the base for a regular human being, the condition of his body was quite normal except for the health stat which was down due to the cold
"Magic..'he looked at the screen in front of him with bright eyes a word only association with fantasy novels and movies now appeared in this strange window that seemed to display everything about him
While he was still stunned,the door to the classroom burst open revealing a frantic figure
"Adam what the hell, did you see the sky go dark.. Kael shouted, before he could even focus on his friend several sounds and cries coming from out side made his body move towards the window to see what was happening
Outside,the whole world he knew had changed and what he saw was more lyk a scene pulled frm and apocalyptic movie, no longer the same thing he saw just a few minutes ago.
People were running, screaming and begging in despair as they tried with all their strength to get away from other people. However the scariest thing was that there were many people feasting on others as if they were beasts.
"Help!!"
A pretty girl was running for her life as she looked behind her, attempting to get as far away as possible from this strange people. She tripped and fell to the ground
"look out!..." Kael screamed out in horror
One of those strange people, with it's bloody mouth, caught the girl and fiercely bit her leg, making her scream in pain
"Save me" the young girl cried painfully as she tried to escape. Her face was truly pitiful, unfortunately for her none of the people running for safety bothered with her as they were trying to save their own skin. Soon the girl stopped moving. However a few moments later ,the girl stood up and began to move slowly as she went after the noise
Seeing this Kael completely turned pale as he realized that this strange ppl were practically zombies from the walking dead series
"What is that.." Kael was shocked as he saw a strange creature that looked lyk a bat but covered in red mist the size of two fist fly towards a zombie. The zombie didn't even react as the bat directly tore through its head and killing it, the bat seemed to have eaten something in the zombie head as it's body seemed to grow a few inches before it stopped
As if sensing something, it left the corpse and charged straight towards the male dormitory
"Watch out Kael.." Adam's voice came from behind
Kael's face changed as he saw the creature charge towards him. It's speed was really fast and in just a few moments it had crossed the window, aiming for his head.
Kael reacted on instinct, his left hand shot out immediately closing the iron burglary traping the creature halfway. He immediately reached for a chair hitting the stuck insect on the head successfully killing it. A gold colored orb shot out of the giant bat's body and entered his

"What is happening, what's this strange message in front of me …. Adam asked confused,he had seen the big bat try to tear Kael's head off
Crouching down to check the corpse, kael found a scroll shining besides it, picking the scroll

He turned around and looked at him "We have to get out of here, I don't know what's going on buh people are tearing each other into pieces out there…
Adam gulped hard "you mean like zombies?..
" Yeah I saw a girl get torn to pieces and still get up so it's definitely zombies and can you also see that weird message?…Kael asked, Adam nodded. Kael felt relieved
"At least I'm not going crazy"...
