There was a loud roar coming from the part of the sanctuary where the veteran army stood. They all stared at the door, the military officers amongst them went closer to the mayor, set to protect him from whatever problem this was.
Pauline's mum rose and said, I'll handle it, No worries, Zaya replied, as she rushed towards the door. Before she got there, the door was blasted open, aiming in Zaya's direction.
Zaya caught the door with her right hand, diverting it sideways. In the entrance of the room was Pauline. Her eyes were thick, like that of a lion's, but the fur and mane that were all over her body had disappeared.

Pauline then said, some powerful being in the nether realms helped quicken my transformation process. We must go now, Pauline yelled, coughing out more blood, else the sanctuary will be destroyed. The dragon's already attacking. I could sense a higher power also coming from far away.

They all followed, including some army officers and Korin included. After calming Pauline down, she was kept in a segment of the civilian side of the sanctuary.
Zaya walked out of the rooms towards the veteran army. They were divided into five, each being led by different commanders, three of which were to go into the battle through the front, while two others to stay on the rear.
Zoey's mum called the commanders forward and began giving them instructions, she then appointed June, Natasha, Zaya, and Ashara to assist each of the commanders and take their place in the battle, just in case they fall.
After this, each of the girls went towards their respective armies. Zoey's mum then walked towards where Zaya stood and spoke, Zaya, your main battle isn't going to be in this city, you would have to leave and go into hiding.

She then walked towards the segment of the army where she was stationed, the rear. On her way there, Zaya began pondering, if the Vikings wanted to destroy the fox clan, why didn't they just directly come for both her and the other fox.
There was a loud shriek, the sanctuary had been breached, somehow the fire creatures had found a way to enter. Zoey's mum screamed for her armies to enter the other part of the building and protect the civilians, while Zaya's and the other army in the rear should wait for their respective orders.
The armies rushed towards the other side of the sanctuary, various weapons in their hands, as they stormed through, attacking the wild beasts and protecting the civilians.
They were Minotaurs, an ancient civilization that had existed for a few centuries. When the Vikings had used the dragons to terrorize the world, the Minotaur king surrendered, pledging to their cause.

Each wearing animal hide as cloth, they became walking animals, void of any sense of self-consciousness. With the help of the dragon and their thousands of continuous hits, they broke a hole through the sanctuary.
The veterans fought back, using various types of weapons, Fire blasters, spears, guns, and grenades. The battle was fierce, and it continued.
Zaya stood, hoping for her parents to be safe wherever they were. She couldn't move where she was, as she knew this was the best way.
"Zaya!" Someone yelled, Zaya shifted her gaze towards who called her, it was Pauline, her face pale, resisting the guards that dragged her back.
She tried to say something, but Zaya couldn't grasp, Pauline looked upwards, and Zaya also looked. The dragon was coming, and gaining on them fast.
