"I saw that thief steal your item earlier! My friends and I took a shortcut to chase her and finally cornered her here!"
Satou Kazuma answered without a hint of hesitation.
"Huh?"
Aqua, standing to the side, looked completely lost.
Natsuki Subaru, on the other hand, stared at Kazuma in shock.

"Jeez! Does a little scratch like that even need healing!?"
Aqua pouted, looking at Emilia with annoyance.
This girl knows healing magic too!

Kazuma glanced at Aqua out of the corner of his eye, a smirk on his face, as if to say, "Look at her, now look at you." He then presented the insignia, which he'd had in his hand all along.
"I saw how panicked you were, so I guessed this insignia was very important to you. So, I got it back for you!"
"Thank you so much!"
Emilia took the insignia and bowed deeply.
"I don't know how to thank you!"
"Oh, it's fine. My friend here... seems to have had a little misunderstanding with you earlier. He actually helped a lot, too. I couldn't have gotten the insignia back without him."
Kazuma gestured to Subaru, who rubbed his head and laughed awkwardly.
