Felt slumped over the table, looking annoyed.
"That bastard... I'm gonna kill him!"
Old Man Rom, after hearing Felt's story, was burning with rage.
He treated Felt like his own precious granddaughter!
That guy dared to steal Felt's panties!?
I'm going to smash his skull in with my club!
While Felt was also annoyed, she was more confused.
That guy today... how did he steal from me?
Was it magic?
Felt was deeply curious.

"What's going on!? Why are you attacking me on sight!?" Kazuma yelled.
"You're the bastard who has designs on Felt! She told me: a guy in weird clothes with a perverted look on his face!"
"Hey! How does that description automatically lock onto me!?"
"I'd say it describes your essence perfectly," Aqua chimed in from behind him.
"You want to mess with Felt, you'll have to get through my club first!"
Old Man Rom roared, raising his weapon again and bringing it down on Kazuma's head.
At that critical moment, Emilia's clear voice rang out:
"Stop right there!"
She raised her hand. An ice spike formed in mid-air, shot out, pierced Old Man Rom's club, and pinned it to the wall.
"Tell us everything you know!"

A few minutes later.
"...That's all we know! We were just hired to do a job! We had no idea what that insignia was for!" Felt said quickly.
Faced with a powerful magic-user, Felt and Rom could only tell the truth.
Emilia pursed her lips, her expression serious.
She could tell they weren't lying.
"Do you know who the client was?"
"No, we never asked. In our line of work, you just take the money and do the job... But she should be here soon."
"Then we'll wait for her here," Emilia said.
The client had specifically targeted her insignia. The motive was obvious: to force her out of the royal selection.
But who would do this?
Questions bloomed in Emilia's mind, but she had no answers.
She would have to wait for the client to appear and confront her.
"Lia, my time is up. I'm leaving the rest to you!"
As dusk approached, Puck yawned, spoke to Emilia, and then disappeared into the crystal pendant on her chest.
"Spirits have a 9-to-5 schedule?" Kazuma remarked.
Aqua, meanwhile, was curiously examining the various stolen goods in the hideout, even picking up a few things she found interesting.
Natsuki Subaru, however, was extremely tense.
He knew that the person who had already killed him twice was about to arrive.
Right on cue, a familiar sound echoed.
It was the sharp click-clack of high heels on the floor.
Elsa, wrapped in her black cloak, appeared before them.
"My, my. I didn't expect to walk into a scene like this~"
Elsa wore a flirtatious smile, her eyes sweeping over everyone present.
"You're the one who hired Felt to steal my insignia! What is your goal!?" Emilia demanded.
"Oh dear. This is an unexpected development. You shouldn't have come looking~ You might have been able to keep your life, otherwise."
Elsa's tongue darted out, licking her red lips. Her eyes narrowed, focusing on Emilia.
"After all, my client said to 'eliminate' you from the royal selection. As for the method... they left that up to me~"
As she finished speaking, Elsa seemed to transform into a black viper, closing the distance to Emilia in an instant. A crazed smile was on her face.
"If you're dead, you can't participate, can you!"
Her speed was incredible, as if she were tearing the air itself. Two curved blades were in her hands, the cold metal glinting as they aimed straight for Emilia's abdomen.
The "Bowel Hunter." That was Elsa's nickname.
Anyone who died by her hand would be disemboweled, their intestines ripped out.
Her speed was immense. Even Kazuma and Subaru, who were close by and expecting it, couldn't follow her with their naked eyes.
But Emilia was prepared. She cast her magic, and a wall of ice erupted in front of her, blocking the attack. At the same time, several ice spikes materialized, shooting straight at Elsa.
