In a dark, damp tunnel, a cockroach-headed monster with shiny black armor barked orders, his antennae twitching angrily.
The air below ground was cold and reeked of blood and decay. Old lights flickered weakly, just enough to reveal five figures.
Five monsters.
Their auras varied in strength, but by the disaster level rankings of Wolf, Tiger, Demon, Dragon, and God, these were all the lowest, ordinary Wolf-class monsters.
Cannon fodder among cannon fodder.
Right now, they were struggling to drag the massive corpse of some unknown creature. The body was slick with blood and slime, leaving a long trail across the brick floor. Their heavy footsteps echoed through the tunnel.

Rumor had it that monsters sent on this delivery rarely came back alive.

He looked down at himself.
A humanoid body, lean and tall.
His skin was covered in black chitin armor lined with sharp spikes, and his hands ended in clawed plates.
From his head sprouted two long beetle-like black horns.
